Man, I haven't typed about Punk and Jericho a lot. Jericho is the last person to enter the Chamber, it leads to believe that Jericho and Punk will clash at the Chamber. However, given Jericho's "trolling" gimmick, he will just walk out. Think of it like this: Punk eliminates someone just as the clock for Jericho's entrance winds down. The door has to be unlocked to let the wrestler out. That wrestler tends to be so beaten, he slowly exits the chamber. This gives the staredown of those two guys, and then Jericho just bails. This would be explained on RAW, and justify a one on one match at Wrestlemania. That's what Jericho seemingly wants.
Of course the more traditional ideas of Jericho winning the title at the Chamber, or Jericho losing and getting a number one contender match opportunity can happen. With Jericho back, I feel they want to make things fresh, he wants to make things fresh. So far with his character, he's doing that, and at the Chamber, a fresh idea. Speaking of CM Punk, I was a fan of him since he debuted in ECW. I always liked him for his straight edge lifestyle, and his impressive in ring ability. When he cashed in MITB, I was happy. When he turned heel and became a Straight Edge Messiah, I was in love. I missed that gimmick. His current one is perfectly fine, and entertainment, but if Punk's heel character simply had more confidence, and he became a permanent top guy way back then, I would immediately hop on that side of the fence, rather than the current one. The stuff was so well done, because Punk's true lifestyle and charisma made it work. His feud with Jeff Hardy took things to personal heights, but was supremely entertaining as a result. Now that he and Bryan are in higher positions than say last year, they are more likely to show everyone in ring mastery. I mean last week with Punk and Bryan wrestling each other showed that. Just add Wrestlemania, the two will create magic with their respective opponents. I don't have to question Jericho and Sheamus though. |

That is when I started to like Punk, during the feud with Jeff Hardy . I thought the matches vs Johnny Nitro/Morrison in ECW were pretty good but I never thought he was anything special, not until he cashed in that case against Hardy who was so popular at the time. Everything just clicked and that was that. A damn good feud too.
Bryan is going to show the world what he is all about at Wrestlemania . Maybe the Elimination chamber too, but certainly Wrestlemania . confidence. I like the idea of Jericho just leaving the Elimination Chamber match, it was something I thought about myself , and of course it will be different but I think we will have a winner and loser . We wont have to wait long to find out . |

Bryan has good wrestling skills but his personality is a little flat. If they want him to be a heel champ he needs to do some more evil shit. Walking away from the ring does not cut it.

Jeez, a lot to catch up on (again!) ...
Dean Ambrose: I actually first saw him while he was in CZW, and I just didn't dig him at all (then again, I don't like much of the Combat Zone scene) ... but the more I've watched him in FCW, the more he's grown on me. He had a stellar match with William Regal that was legit one of the 10 or so best matches that I saw last year; yes, anyone can have a good match with Regal but it takes two good workers to push it to a top-10 level. The only complaint that I have with Ambrose is that he's too over-the-top in his selling & expressions, but it's easier to teach a guy to dial down than to actually sell. Diva stuff: I agree that Beth will kill time with Tamina before getting Karma @ Mania. Build Beth up as the unbeatable heel and then let Karma beat her. I'm as big of a diva/knockout/women's wrestler mark as there is at PS, and even I think that one women's match will be all that there is at Mania. What sucks about that, though, is that they have enough good wrestlers/models (including Layla, who's do to be back soon, and all sorts of good wrestlers in FCW) to actually have multiple women's feuds at once. Instead, it's 90 second matches between the same women week in/week out. (And since Seven Churches name-dropped her a few pages ago, I'd love to see Sara Del Rey get a run in the WWE with matches against Natalya, Beth & Karma, but I just don't see her having the look that Vince/HHH is after. Cheerleader Melissa, IMHO, has a better chance; she has a better look and can 'go' just as well. She just had a good match with Mickie James in the TNA "Ring Ka King" fed that I'd recommend checking out. I can share the link if anyone wants it.) Elimination Chamber/Mania build: I'm thinking that Jericho takes the belt (and then defends against Punk @ Mania) but Bryan retains via somewhat cheap means (e.g. doesn't do much but hide & run until it's just one guy left, and then pins him when the previous guy had knocked him out, or via a cheap schoolboy roll-up) and then has Sheamus call him out as the title he wants to take. There's no way that both retain, and no way that both lose. Plus, IMHO, Bryan/Sheamus could be a match-of-the-night candidate for Mania. Oh, and I love what they're doing with Bryan's character - he's not the stereotypical cheating heel, but is an altogether different beast. I love how subtle his heel act has been, but with a semi-blatant "wink wink" about him doing it. Ratings: I saw a blurb that Raw's ratings went down this week from last. Kinda surprising, seeing as it's on the heels of the Taker return & Taker/HHH @ Mania tease. The cynic in me thinks that they'll find a way to blame Punk & Jericho, but really ... can anyone deny that having a 'wrestling' show with more promos & videos than time in the ring is doomed to fail?!? |

Rock did an interview with moviefone.com and had this to say about his upcoming opponent:
On facing John Cena and working with WWE CEO Vince McMahon again, Rock said, "I'm excited about WrestleMania; to be able to go back, team up with Vince and make a big vision like that come to life and create the biggest match-up of all time is very special to me. There's countless matches that have moved me and inspired me, and we're going to do something very special down in Miami, my hometown, sold-out Sun Life Stadium. Boots to John Cena's ass... The only trouble he's going to have is removing my size 15 boot from his ladyparts." I hate when they say stuff like the greatest matchup of all time or the greatest PPV of all time. Quit overhyping or overpromoting the PPV and instead put on a great match and the fans can then call it the greatest matchup of all time. Tenay at TNA does the same with his "this is the greatest match of all time in our sport". |

Basically, I'm into Wrestlemania as a whole being the biggest show, all around. It's not always about Cena and Rock. Speaking of Tenay, I do notice that, but I can only name one match he was right about, or at least close to being right: Daniels vs. Joe vs. Styles that main evented a PPV. That's one of my favorite matches of all time. An idea for Extreme Rules, if Beth and Kharma happen at Wrestlemania: those two in a tables match. Or something in the hardcore territory. Speaking of the Divas, if Beth and Kharma happens, and the match gets high marks from the critics and the fans in attendance, then it could very well do two things. One, convince some of the less talented divas to realize that actual women's wrestling, full blown, technically pleasing, is what draws. Maybe force some women to leave (Kelly Kelly comes to mind. I am thinking she will leave WWE by the end of 2012. She got on the cover of Maxim, she's going to realize that mainstream stuff like that will be better for her. For me personally, I agree, it prevents her from wrestling. Not a fan of hers). Two, show the officials the same thing. 10 minutes is enough. |

This is the era we live in where hype is more inportant tham the actual match so it's not a suprise when people throw that best match of all time line.

I also liked the CM Punk Jeff Hardy feud I love the peoples faces also came arcoss this well if that Kharma, Beth Phoenix match does happen I too hope it was get the Divas to step their game up but, we are talking about the WWE and as long as Vince has a say the diva will be nothing more than eyecandy that think they can wrestle. And with D.Bryan I wonder what he's going to do to stir the pot with Randy on Smackdown. |

I just don't see Rock/Cena being bigger then Hulk/Andre. And in those days they didn't start hyping WM til it got close to the event (a couple months away). WWE started hyping this WM while last years was still going and kicked it off the day after the last WM and pushed it every week since.
I do believe that with all this hype since the last WM to make this one supposedly the best ever they will have to deliver on fan dream matches as much as possible. |

If thats true I wonder if Stephanie takes HHH in the ass? |

On the subject of women, if anyone watches WWE's recent shows on their Youtube channel, they had a 2nd edition of their WWE Inbox. Regal was asked who his celebrity crush was, and he said Vickie Guerrero! That made me pop big time, because I personally find her attractive. He also mentioned her in stockings, that was exciting. To burtog: I did watch that match. I am a fan of Regal and saw his work a lot, but given his inactivity, and how into Daniel Bryan I am, I was very happy to see Regal's ring style baring similarity to Bryan. I know he trained D-Bryan. Great match though, on the slow side, playing to both Regal's naughty character, and Ambrose's character, who liked the pain. Very interesting |
