While I was watching Krull, I thought it reminded me especially with the music of Excalibur. The characters all felt real with not a Mary Sue amongst them, the comedy was well-timed, the action is great and the deaths good and bad felt meaningful.

I don't have the Special Edition, but I did some research and it appears that it does indeed have English subtitles.
