I also thought Orton and Barrett had a definitive ending last week but like you said, you can never tell. They will both be in the chamber so maybe Barrett will get involved in the Orton vs Bryan match
I can't see Orton losing this week , just the way he was talking on smackdown last week, he once again acted like a real person and his goal is to become a 10 time world champion, I see him being kept strong ( thank you captain obvious ) .that is fine , keep the others fairly strong even though they have no chance of winning. I also agree that Randy Orton should not win at the chamber. It serves no purpose. As Long as Bryan is still the champion at the end of the next pay per view, it's all good. That Money in the Bank match sounds interesting. |

Rodd Dogg Jesse James I love it but, with Orton like eagle I think they are just keeping him strong he'll win his 10th world title but, I hope it's later down the year I see Wade Barret getting his first world title by beating Orton. I just hope this is the year of the young guns to show what they can do and break into the main event spotlight Shemus is the leader of the next wave of main eventers and he needs others to join him I don't mind seeing Cena, Orton etc. getting title shots but as long as it's in certain spots not every month and just let the young guns develop. I also enjoy the title not changing hands every month and I agree with you Seven Churches about the Shemus & Christain feud I wouldn't mind seeing Christian get another title reign because his last ones were like lifetime achivement awards than title reigns.

And with Drew McIntyre it will be one of those desperate times call for desprerate messures kind of thing when he takes out Khali and get in the EC I think this losing streak is a way for everyone to write him off and then he'll shock the world I don't know what that will be but, thats how I see it because I been a fan of this guy since he came in and I love how he Destroyed R-Truth and Matt Hardy when he started. Give me this guy I just hope they let him get back on the path to main event status because I would love to see him and Shemus go at it for the world Title. |

A lot for me to comment on. I didn't notice until now, but thanks to eagleeagle for defining Christian's title reigns as lifetime achievements. Over the months I've read people complain of how short they were, and how he was the worst world champion in 2011. My defenses never included that lifetime achievement award defense. Makes total sense, also, Christian's first title reign was done to turn him heel. The 2nd was to extend his feud with Orton, because simultaneously, Mark Henry was being built as this monster. It wouldn't make sense for Henry to take the title off of Christian, so Orton had to get the title back.
To the video of "Are You Serious," it was very funny. It reminded me a bit of Botchamania, which is a series that looked at pro wrestling matches, promos, moments, not going as planned, with slip ups, mistakes, accidents. Hilarious series, this one though looks at the moments in depth with a comedic outlook. The funniest part was the Sid Justice Barber shop moment. There are plenty they have to show. Off the top of my head, Mark Henry having a hard time to open the steel cage door way back in 2006. I've been a fan of Drew McIntyre since he debuted on SmackDown. The guy is talented in the ring, I love his thick Scottish accent, and the character he played was very nice. It got better when he feuded with Matt Hardy and Teddy Long, because it showed a man who's very remorseless, sadistic, and torturous: physically and mentally. He was unique in that he used the setup of the ring as a foreign object, such as the bottom of the apron, steel posts, and whatnot. I think that character will more or less return, but with a desperate side as CarlJ1. Could make him more dangerous. The fact he's on TV, and his losing streak is a storyline, it tells me a payoff is coming, just have to wait. Sheamus and Drew would be a great feud. Like Barrett, it'd be hard hitting matches with good characters to carry the feud. Sinister Scotsman vs. the Fighting Irishman. Also, with Sheamus and Drew being highlighted this year, could lead to a world title feud, on TV most likely. |

Reason: speculation
On the subject of Drew, I would think there has to be an end game, that is supposed to be what happens, isn't it ? I think there has been too much damage to this Drew McIntyre so some change is needed, that would be the end game and he kicks some ass or turns babyface or even better, kills Teddy Long, yes, actually kill the character for good because he was way out stayed his welcome. I'm sure that would get Drew over, playa. I'm not so confident anything good will happen with Drew but we will see. I did read this speculation Quote:

Various wrestling sites are saying tonights RAW will focus on UT and HHH. Also on NEXT weeks RAW Sean Michaels will be appearing. Wonder if the plan is a UT/HHH match with Sean as the ref?

I read that news piece too. I think that could happen in a way where Drew does snap back. They say that the winner makes more money in a wrestling match. So, Drew snaps back and has a winning streak. The more wins he has, the more money he makes, therefore he flaunts it and becomes an "arrogant playboy." This could also have a valet: Layla comes to mind since she's going to return some time this year. Maybe have him shift in valets, with random women each week? He will also be careless of his many gifts that he gets just by winning, so no love to women, no love to his opponent, just spending money and whatnot? Maybe take Aksana away from Teddy Long?
I'm trying to think on this. Not sure if that will happen, it's just speculation. What will happen though is a payoff. I love the beatdown on Teddy Long though. Long has been the same character, on and off, for over 7 years. It's longer than Cena's character lifespan, can you believe that? He's so predictable that it's a joke, it's a meme. I don't know if this was posted, but here's a chart that perfectly summarizes Teddy Long's schtick. To be fair, they've basically gave him the same stuff for so long. Things would be better when he's given different things, such as the Drew McIntyre thing from 2010 which involved him getting on his knees, being humbled like never before. That'd be fun. Other stuff like him getting kidnapped by Undertaker... Also, he'd get targeted by Vince McMahon in 2009, and Christian just last year. Those were fun times. The Aksana angle has been going nowhere, so it's about as tiring as Teddy Long's entire GM run. So Drew McIntyre just snapping and beating on him would be different, therefore entertaining. |

ongoing raw report
Last edited by Alan Kellerman; 7th February 2012 at 19:20.
six pack challenge match main event with the raw elimination chamber wrestlers . winner gets to enter last in the chamber match . This could be good. I like this promo from Triple H . Good stuff with the undertaker video . Yeah, I'm well into this storyline . Triple H made sense and kinda said what I'm feeling, we want to always remember how good a wrestler was at their best . This will be good. Undertaker's response was short and sweet . He said himself that he does not want to be remembered as going out on his back . different sort of build up this time too. don't know if I'm mentioned it before but Daniel Bryan is awesome. Another match vs Big Show, what can you do ? more exposure, more tv time but it wont be cm punk vs Daniel Bryan . Too many commercials! I enjoyed this . AJ getting involved again and Bryan sneaking away . The usual match vs Big Show.Superb promo from Bryan again following the match, got some nice heat. And David Otunga is out . The day has come that I can put up with him. This role is perfect for Otunga. pray with me now ha ha . But now he is competing in a match vs Sheamus. I smell an ass kicking . wow, Otunga gets two moves in before posing like an idiot and setting himself up for the brogue kick. Sheamus wins. Hour 2 begins and here comes Chris Jericho, he is walking to the ring and looking like a serious individual. The time for the promo has finally come .taking shots at all the chamber opponents. good stuff. The usual super promo from Jericho. He says he manipulated and trolled us . and to no surprise at all, CM Punk comes out to confront him . Battle of the verbal skills ? drooling material well, not quite. Cm Punk raises his title and leaves without saying a word. Jericho gets mad . Randy Orton and Khali vs Barrett and Rhodes is next. Random but not really, since they are all in the chamber match on smackdown it makes perfect sense. Standard match. Orton does all the work and fights off both men , before Khali tags himself in and finishes Cody with a chop. Orton then hits Khali with an RKO to end the segment. Orton is on fire. 56 nights away from Wrestlemania . the biggest match ever (rock vs cena), and they are talking about a twitter battle . fuck twitter. I can't wait to see Cena lay Rock out . Beat his candyass right in front of Rock's home crowd. oh great . 4 vs 4 diva match, they show footage of Cena enjoying his rage while beating up Kane last week . Eve Torres, Kelly Kelly, Tamina and Alicia fox vs The Bella's, Beth Phoenix and Natalya. They are putting over Beth hard and wondering who can possibly beat her . Beth is being a bitch . Tamina picks up the victory in a short match after a superfly splash on one of the Bella's . Boring. Big Johnny is in the house and still executive vice president of talent relations and interim general manager of raw. Johnny informs Triple H that Shawn Michaels will be in the house next week. Usual ridicule of Johnny's career from Triple H. I don't care what Punk or Triple H say. John Laurinaitis is brilliant. The board of directors will announce the future of Johnny tomorrow. once again, the Undertaker video is shown. Quote:
back from the commercial and Truth is being helped backstage by a few ref's after messing up a move earlier. Jericho and Kofi have a battle in the ring alone while the rest of the guys recover outside the ring. and Jericho wins Punk hit Ziggler with a GTS but Jericho pulled Punk from the ring and got the pin on Ziggler. Jericho will enter the Elimination chamber last. Jericho poses with the title belt. and suddenly we go backstage and Kane is Scaring Eve. Kane says that he is afraid for her , he is afraid of himself and Cena is embracing the hate . hmm, interesting. I kept thinking during the show where the hell is Cena or Kane and right at the end, Kane shows up. It didn't take up too much time so I can't complain. I thought this was a good Raw, things happened and moved shit along. Surprised there was no Funkasaurus but I can live with it |
