After regaining control of my FB account, I return to see that my biological father passed away in mid-August. He and my mom divorced years ago, and he refused my attempt to reignite a relationship in 2017, so I'm not all that sad. He was an alcoholic cop who thought he was a modern-day Dirty Harry, who never tried to look for me. But it does close a certain chapter of my life that I kind of wish turned out differently...
