K2s tez and fboom used to work fine until last week. I guess this problem will be fixed soon but if its not, then I should suppose they want us to pay the current price of membership so Rip free users.

WRT the K2S issues,
there seems to be a very simple workaround: register a free account. I tried to dl this file as an unregistred user two days ago and the dl didn't complete. Right now it did an I got twice the dl speed. 200 Kb/s. |

MadMarkus is a little wrong in his conclusions based on a one-time file download.

This is all wrong - I have been on their sites for a long time as a registered user, but I download in free mode and because: 1. They have long ago introduced a system that if you have not registered, the speed will generally be 30 Kb / s, and if you are registered, it will be 50 Kb / s, and by the way, they write about this in the technical support service when they answer questions. 2. The speed of 150 - 200 Kb / s in free mode is faster because we follow links from this site - the administrators have long explained to me that it is the transition from this site that gives such an advantage. 3. Trying to download as a registered user all these days from all three of these file sharing services and the last time last night - I can name statistics that out of 10 attempts to download different files from different hosts, three files are downloaded completely and seven are just failures... it happens that one or another hosting gives a download but this is significantly less than when there are only interruptions until now. First, to get more speed in free mode, they introduced mandatory registration and then these problems appeared to which they do not react and answer specific questions with some nonsense... the problems are clearly on their side and they have not been fixed for a week - this is all very strange and really makes you think that they want to force everyone to pay them money! Addition: I was right and already at night after 00.15 when trying to download files - fileboom- gave a normal download, but on - k2s - and - tezfiles - again breaks.... I did not try again and it is clear that everything remained at the same level and the statistics as I wrote above are the same. |

It seems k2s has found their own workaround for that requirement by just failing downloads from folks who aren't going to register like myself. |

I wrote above and now you don't have to register, but the trick is that when downloading in free mode they will give a speed close to 0... and failures happen, that's the thing, even with registered users and no one fixes such a malfunction for more than a week - it means that they used to lure money by distributing absolutely low speeds from unregistered users, and now they force everyone to pay them money with constant failures... otherwise you can't explain what's happening.

All right they have issues:
Frist file dl-ed at 200 Kb/s with zero problems. Second at 100 and failed 1 MB short of completion. However, I hit restart in my browser(Firefox) and the dl resumes. The last MB is dl-ed and the file is complete. Third time I get 200 dl-speed and two of the stoppages described above but the dl was continued both times. |
