HHH may have a big ego but his respect for Undertaker, his streak and his legacy...everything he's done for the business superseed's HHH's ego. HHH has even said that in interviews. I can see them having another match and like burtog said, with HHH being the heel in the match. If they have that match including Rock v Cena, Punk v Jericho, Ziggler winning MITB...that would be an UNREAL Mania!

It does sound tasty on paper. Most definitely.

can't argue that it is a far better match for some midcarders to participate in than a random tag match . having just one briefcase makes it seem more prestigious as well I guess. agreed 100% on Triple H playing heel/ partial heel turn etc . I think he set the wheels in motion on the slammy show when he cut that promo on the Undertaker. |

I just saw this on another board, and while it probably should go in the TNA thread I know that people talked about Scott Steiner in this thread; this is from the TNA India project, and honestly it makes Steiner look like the baddest man on the planet:
I love seeing him go after fans and how scared shitless they are of him. |

Awesome .
was funny how he was so bland for all those years . before when we named our favorite tag teams , I named the Steiner's as my favorite but I always thought Scott was boring. Rick showed more personality and Scott just killed people with his suplex's. Then suddenly he turns heel, loses that awful mullet ,goes blond, has amazing personality and becomes the best promo man in the history of the business (slight exaggeration) |

LOL Scott is one funny bastard when he is on his game. Of course we all know if he grabs a fan you can be sure that fan is in the business.

I liked Scott Steiner best as The Steiner Brothers with Rick. They were an unreal team...very athletic and technical wrestlers. Later in Scott's career, in his Big Poppa Pump era, he seemed to do more mouth running and steroids than anything. Yeah, he cut some good promos but most of the time it was mealy mouth horseshit coming from his mouth. When he came back to WWE and feuded with HHH, there's a reason why HHH ran him over...he simply is the better man in the ring and on the mic.

I didn't watch Steiner in his peak as a wrestler. I sure did see him at his peak in being an entertaining train wreck on the mic. That interview that had him explain numbers was the funniest I've seen from him. Nowadays, I don't like him as a wrestler. I've seen his old work with his brother and I think it goes without saying that he was very good there. I can't think of a good match he had in his 2000s. The match with HHH at the Royal Rumble in 2003 was awful. Most belly to belly suplexes ever used, but not as exciting as say the 3 Amigos, or Angle's German suplex streak. It was painful to watch someone as talented as HHH, go through him.
So when he talks, I basically forget how bad he is these days. With all due respect. |

Big Poppa Pump was always best on the mic when he was burying wrestlers in a shoot or insulting the fans. Then the promos were entertaining enough that you noticed his stammering and mispronunciations less. This was always one of my favorite promos despite being a big Flair fan:
Scott was easily one of the most agile wrestler I ever saw. One of his spots he did earlier in his career was the Blockbuster Suplex. He hits the move on Fuji about 4:10, but botches it; he immediately hits a cleaner looking one on Iizuka after it. |
