It isn't normal!

When you download files
Make sure that you come from *.planetsuzy.org then you get speed 70kbs (for all files)
If you come from differend site (or you use special software) your speed will be 30-50kbs.
If your speed less then 30kbs
It is mean something not good with your conection.
Make sure you not use any Proxy or VPN
Stop all torrents, stop downloading other files.


You are welcome to use any major download accelerator, e.g. JDownloader, Internet Download Manager, Download Accelerator Plus, Google File Download Manager etc... This will increase your download speed and let you finish downloads which were interrupted.

If you still feel there is something wrong with the connection, you can send us the tracing details from you to our server so that our tech staff can have a look into the situation.
Go to Start>Accessories>cmd, and type tracert prx-01.keep2share.cc
Copy the results and send them to us.

You should take note of the configurations used for downloading; speed relies on the referrer. If you do not have a premium account, your best download speed and shortest wait between downloads will come if Planetsuzy is the referrer. Software such as download managers or link checkers may anonymize (hide) the referrer resulting in reduced download speed and longer waiting times. For example, my download speed with W.A.R. Link Checker enabled is 35kbs, disabled is 100kbs.

You are encouraged to post download results in this thread. Please include any k2s link producing sub-par results.

I can't confirm this. They tweaked the settings for PlanetSuzy so that the peak speed is 70 kByte/sec for all downloads. Last week the 2nd download in a row was limited to 30 kByte. It's a kind of improvement, but it's only the peak speed that changed. The average is still below the 70 kByte/sec and far away from 100 kByte/sec.

You said elsewhere that the speed for Fritchy should also be 100 kByte/sec. Nope - it is 50 kByte/sec but at least it is stable and in average probably faster than the average speed for Suzy LOL

I still don't get it why you guys are so proud of the 100k to 75k speed and lower. That like D/L speed of a dial up internet. Even rapid or UL, which kind of crappy is at least give average speed around 130k to 170k.

100kbs was pledged for next week. however, i don't expect more than 70kbs in the event we begin requiring mirrors for keep2share links.

Any host's value to this forum depends upon the accessibility of content to free downloaders. First, 130kbs to 170kbs is higher than the typical download speed for free users from Rapidgator and Uploaded; Second, the waiting time between downloads for Uploaded and Rapidgator are 2 - 5 times longer than that for Keep2Share.

The reason we are considering requiring mirrors is because we are not 'proud' of K2S's performance.

Looks like you should contact your provider. I have a premium account and a downloadspeed around 15Mb/s

All this "requiring mirrors" for this and that host is imo begnning to become too much.

Why not make a required host rule to ALL sections and then let posters chose mirrors freely from the rest of the allowed hosts. A bit like PATM section just a few more required hosts to chose from ... just dont add K2S RG UL in the required list ...

This way you get to test more hosts to see if any has any potential for other sections ..
