I wonder if they are punishing ones of us who live in the areas where the "hub" has been blocked?

Or perhaps because the "hub" has been blocked, there is a greater demand for other file downloading sites?

I download a lot of spanking material from x-buster, but the last few days all I can get is "wrong capcha." I can double check and know the capcha is correct, so after several attempts, I simply quit trying.

And I wondered if this wasn't another cost cutting measure?

Wonder what percentage of users haven't opted for registration and instead, like myself, are essentially getting half the downloads (same as half the speed)? And now with the failures k2s this is further cutting what can be downloaded and cutting their payouts to posters by a significant percentage.

Edit: I think they may be getting on top of the problems now. I'm downloading 12 files simultaneously from all three and have been for the last 2 hours at least with no drops or stalls so far. Speeds are all over the place anywhere from 25kB/s up to 200kB/s and everything in between, but consistently TEZ is the fastest, then FB and K2S is always the slowest. Always convert K2S to TEZ wherever you can.

Edit 2: Only K2S continues to struggle completing without stall/resume now. The other two appear to be fixed

I had this happen with a 2 rar file that I know works. I had downloaded it years ago so it was the fboom constant fails that I blamed..... Each rar file had like 5 fails!

It ended up being such a waste of time.....

The files that do stop and start and take three days to download have max-max-max headroom issues that they haven't had in the past. Fortunately, it is not the entire clip, but three video/buzz/color panel/fuzz/back to video in the same clip is annoying.

I may try to redownload later if this clears up.

At this point, I think you have to accept that if your download stops and resumes, there will be corruption to some degree. All the files I've downloaded through the FB/K2S nonsense problems with stall/resume recovery have noticeable frame corruption on playback.

The only way I think of to perhaps get around this, or at least make it noticeable, is to encrypt every file inside a password free RAR archive for download. When the corruption happens in downloading the RAR, it should more obviously flag as a CRC error on extraction, telling you should download it again.

I don't know of anyway to check for CRC on a straight downloaded mp4.

Tezfiles & k2S have been okay for pepo but i have been dropping lots of f-bombs trying to download even "small" f-booms (500mb~1.5gb) lately. Very frustrating.

I think they are doing what they do all the time. Strangling the shit out of everything so you have to buy premium. Even that subscription isn't enough any more. Now you have to buy the "premiumpro" to really solve your problems. It won't belong before they create "premiumpro gold/silver/bronze" or some such to create more fleecing tiers.

This company running these three hosts has been doing this periodically for years but instead of kicking them to the kerb or marginalising them everyone facilitates them because of the kickbacks they feed down the line. Great for uploaders and forums. shite for everyone else.

For me personally I lost patience when I spent 3 days trying to DL a 600mb file that took 3 days to complete and was corrupt to shite when it did finally, forcing me to start again with fingers crossed or cough up.

Moaning and bitching about it won't fix anything and sharing all our tales of woe won't correct the issue or lead to some collective Kumbayah moment. Real solutions are hard but simple. And they will never happen

I would never give my money to K2S. Now that a dl rarely completes I just like using their bandwidth, I have no expectations just like seeing how long it takes to fail.
