And I honestly didn't think that the majority of fans truly hated her for the Edge/Hardy love triangle. People chanting "slut" at her was like when they chanted "asshole" at Mr. McMahon ... they're talking about the character and not the person. Some might blur the two, but I think most people are just playing their role as the audience - booing the bad guys & cheering the good guys. I mean, Ziggler is arguably my favorite wrestler right now, but I'd boo the shit out of him if I went to a show, just because he's the heel and that's what I'm supposed to do. And with all that said: I'd watched that Trish/Lita match just a few months ago (I'd downloaded a ton of matches in preparation for moving & not having internet access for a while) and had completely forgotten about that sick bump. It's crazy that she didn't re-break her neck on that. |

The thing is, women have to play vapid roles in the wrestling business because they've got so much more on the line. Any man could tombstone his grandmother one week, and then turn face the next. Women can't do that because, for some reason, the fans seem to be so much more judgmental about it. It's not like the WWE intended on subjecting her to that, but they took a risk and it backfired. And yeah, Lita looks better than ever. Matter of fact, I saw some sort of commercial she did for a horror house somewhere up north this past October in which she was sawing into a dude's cranium, covered in blood. I won't lie-- it turned me on. |

The first time I saw Lita in years was when she had the small cameo when fucking pee wee herman was hosting raw back in 2010 , she looked a lot more healthy than when I last saw her in WWE . It has to take a toll on your body with that schedule .
I didn't or don't love her as much as some of you but she has her place in history. I will probably forget about divas like Alicia fox when the old age memory loss kicks in . Live sex in WWE is an everlasting memory |

Maybe I'm in the minority but when the Hardy/Lita/Edge thing came out I hated Lita ever since. I'm betting more people disliked what happened then you think.
I know its their business and not ours but when you live your life in the public eye people form opinions. Ask Tiger Woods or Leann Rhimes if cheating or stealing spouces affected their reputation. |

If this whole debacle happened in 2012, I'm not so sure she would've taken the bullet. Back then, a lot of people were online, but wrestling rap sheets weren't read by as many fans as they are now. I'm sure that more intimate information could've been reported and saved Amy's career, no matter how bad it really was between the three of them. Plus, judging from the interviews I've seen/read, it doesn't seem to be that big of a deal in their own lives anymore. |

As someone that's never liked Matt Hardy (as an in-ring competitor) and someone that thought the snippets of his real life make him seem like a D-bag, I could totally understand why Amy Dumas would not want to be with him (in real life) and totally supported Edge & Lita in the storyline.
I also think that the impact on someone's reputation for being unfaithful depends on the situation: Kobe Bryant is still a super-popular NBA guy, Ashton Kutcher got the 2 & a Half Men gig, etc. Not everyone has their career ruined for a little indiscretion. I'll also admit that I first saw Lita in the original ECW as "miss congeniality" and thought that she was foxier then than at any point pre-"Rated R Superstar" era. I can't find many good pictures of her online from that era, but this is as good as I can find; she looks like hell in any other one I can find right now. http://30.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lq...x70zo1_500.jpg With all that said, I do kind of disagree with SaintsDecay's opinion on her, in terms of her intelligence. I like her taste in music, but have heard so many horror stories of her time in Mexico and with the "OMEGA" indy fed ... I just can't think of her as being totally bright in light of the stories. Even if only a fraction of them are true, there's been so much smoke that there has to be some fire behind it all. |

TBH I NEVER liked either of the Hardys. I recognize that they could put on a great show as tag teams and they changed the way we look at high flying wrestling (some epic ladder matches too). Jeff's Swanton Bomb is still an amazing move to this day.
They were a good tag team and were fine as IC or US champs. I just don't see either of them as a Main Eventer carrying the world title. They are too small compared to the big guys that usually carry the strap and not believable as a world champ the way I don't see the Miz as a world champion either. |

Size should have nothing to do with who is World Champion. Look at back in the day, how many were big monster men? Not too many. It's all about who is most over with the crowd, loved or hated...who can carry the company. I was always a bigger fan of Jeff as opposed to Matt. Matt always seemed like the boring Hardy to me and the only time I got excited to see Matt Hardy was when he attacked Edge to start off their feud for Lita when he came back. After that, I was like "meh..I hope Edge beats the shit outta Matt Hardy."...hahaha. Jeff was so over with the crowd, the company really had no other choice than to put the World Championship on him and I think he did a good job as face Champ, especially in his feud with superHeel CM Punk.
