Yeah. I guess. The video game from the 80s. I play it on one of those flash sites for kicks. I wasn't playing video games in the 80s. I was out working on my job. I had to get old and on a pension before I had the time to fuck around with video games. There aren't very many good threads just to shoot the shit on here, ya know? Maybe that's a good thing.

Repaired something "they" said could not be repaired.

As some accomplishments go, this one started with "something broke."

Yep, broke the latch off of a toolbox. After examining said toolbox, realized it was never properly put together in the first place.

I obviously have to replace this toolbox. What to do? What to do?

Then the lightbulb went off in my head. I'll put the broken latch toolbox in the row of toolboxes that never leave the shelf, and therefore don't need to be latched. And I will take one of those toolboxes to replace this one. Sounds easy.

Sounds easy; however, the two toolboxes are two inches different. Changing the ones that never leave the shelf involves clearing, cleaning and rearranging the whole shelf.

Three hours later, I completed my "simple" swap.

Over this last week I had my taxes done and had overdue maintenance completed on my car.

I've also been doing more reading and walking over the last few weeks.

Good for you. That means we will have updates on lawn mowing soon. I ran the weed eater 25 minutes after work Friday.

Poisoned them last weekend, waited for the poison to progress to the root. Not enough actual grass to use the mower yet.
