Rapidgator Issues

Hello , does anybody knows any news about rapidgator .
Its not opening since 3 days or even more ... i mean last month (sept) it was working fine but not anymore.
I tried to open it with proxy ... it opened (the download page) ... but when im choosing the "slow download" option for free users , no countdown is starting , and im stuck with the same download page

If only the uploaders here used multiple/mirror hosts , then i could have downloaded some videos by now

Dear planetsuzy staff , plz let us know whats gonna be the next step from u guys , about which new filehost u gonna choose if rapidgator dies

PayPal just informed us that our PayPal account is closed due to high risks of processing file sharing payments. This means that file sharing industry won't last no more. All of the funds are frozen and we will be able to send them back to you in 6 months. Seems that all new file sharing hosts will experience same fate like we and all other big hosts. We did our best to make it work, but unfortunatly this circumstances doesn't depend on us. We will run the host for a month, and if nothing will change, we will close it after."

What about rapidgator ... its not opening for more than 3 days ...
Now since rapidgator is used as the main filehost here on PlanetSuzy , after the death of oron ... and when u find out that even rapidgator is on the same path of death just like oron ... then u feel really angry as if the death of internet is near.

So now what other filehost should be chosen ... and i suggest not one .. but two or three Mirror hosts should be chosen by the uploaders , as most of the posts here contain links of only a single filehost (rapidgator) that is not working.

Yep February.
They are struggling to pay the bills since 8 months now.
Maybe it's just a technical problem, maybe they are unable to continue properly for financial reasons.
Time will tell.


PS:
Just tested, rapidgator is up and running again.

Rapidgator would sometimes not open for a while, and then come back on again. It's happened for months if I'm not mistaken. Just last night I downloaded a RG file, first time in a few days because I couldn't access the page (with some "Problem loading page" message from Firefox).

Try using JDownloader, I can't download Rapidgator files with my browser but JDownloader gets them every time.

I have not been able to use rapidgator for 3 days NOW. Can't use it direct or with Jdownloader.
