Well I guess I'm the only one that likes to look at the glass half full...hahaha. Mick Foley once said about the WWE product that if you don't like what you see on their programming, wait till the next segment and that's a lot what Raw was to me last night. If you didn't like Kane brutalizing Cena and Ryder, next segment The Funkasaurus Brodus Clay. I liked the fact that they took a guy who is so obviously pigonholed as a brutal berzerker type gimmick and did a total 180 with him and gave him a fun gimmick...what's wrong with that? Not everything has to be so serious all the time or am I wrong in thinking that? And as for how many matches there were in the night, yeah there could have been more wrestling but I'd rather see less, higher quality matches than more, lower quality matches....personally.

I did like kane chokeslaming Ryder. I just hope he sells it a bit . turn up with a neck brace on next time we see him. Knowing WWE it will be like nothing happened.

Reason: Getting old . forgetting things.
I don't mind Brodus. you always think he is going to come out and destroy but like you say, we have a million of those in the past. He can really move for his size as well. In the end he did destroy but he was different. Funkasaurous needs to chuck about 5,6,7 whatever people out of the royal rumble and be in the ring on his own. After that, start the dancing thing that Rikishi did. Only this time, have Brodus in there with a few hot women dancers and we have a win. Overall though. I'm liking smackdown better at the minute. It used to be I'd watch Raw every week without fail but missed a lot of Smackdown , at this minute I am more interested in Smackdown . .Smackdown for the most part is the wrestling show and Raw creative called RVD to hook them up and then they came up with a script . I still watch Raw every week . Lately, it hasn't been boring. |

Like I said, I don't have a problem with comedy wrestling, but I just hate to see it exist in almost every part of the show. You've got to have a little contrast to make it special, you know?

I can't help but think that it was supposed to be a burial of Clay (by making him look like a doofus) that will end up getting super-over with the fans. The Jericho stuff is good in theory, but so far it's not working in practice, IMHO. Maybe it's just because the fans were awful last night, but it just didn't work for me as well as it did a week ago. And I as well liked SaintsDecay's booking of a Ryder turn, but the only flaw is what to do after he turned on Cena; would he stay as a Kane acolyte, or would he just become a mid-card heel instead of a mid-card face? (Plus, Ryder sells merchandise, so it'd cost them some sales.) I'd slightly tweak the idea and have Kane convert a bunch of the other lower-card guys, do a quick run as an updated Ministry of Darkness (but with Kane teaching guys to hate) and then they'd be able to have Super Cena fight through all of them to get to Kane. Those guys could then be future endeveavored by Big Johnny. And I have to admit: I'm baffled how they're going to induct the Horsemen. Flair's with TNA, Windham's really ill, and most of the other guys are not totally welcome in the WWE (Luger, Sid, Roma, Benoit, Mongo) ... will it just be Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, Dean Malenko & JJ Dillon? Not a lot of star power there. |

If Jericho comes out and does nothing next week that is when my patience probably disappears. He doesn't have to do much. have somebody come up to him and say something to him, any interaction will do.

I thought Clay was getting buried too . I can picture Zack Ryder saying ''are you serious, bro' when he had a look at Brodus. My first words were what the fuck . as for the horsemen. I would say Dillon and Anderson will be there for sure, Tully too. that is really as close as you can get to the original isn't it ? is Ole Anderson still alive ? I guess the others will get mentioned. Flair has already been inducted. Edge is headlining . He isn't needed. sorry Flair marks |

Yeah, Anderson was on some PPV after Swagger won the World Title, I believe. Swagger was being cocky, of course, and Anderson gave him a good lecture about having a target on his shoulder with that title and how he's going to fizzle out someday. It was pretty depressing.
I liked Flair growing up, but like a lot of the older guys, I think he needs to step down. The only thing is that he can't really afford to, but that's his problem. Honestly, I'm not so sure that Edge deserves to be in the Hall of Fame just yet. I mean, give his retirement time to dry out. I'm not a huge Edge fan, of course, but I think he needs a few more years in away before you give him something like that. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve it in general-- it just seems like they're jumping their guns. |

Edge is perfect for it this year. I know the hall of fame is dodgy but they need somebody to headline. Randy Savage definitely deserves it but it would seem strange putting him in this year .
I think to myself who else is there ? |

Y2J thing lame ass--why u ask?? If he had the speaking ability of Khali then I would say stay silent and kick ass but he is one of the best on the mike and to have him silent to me is just stupid. The Rock is great on the mike and to have him be silent as well would be a waste of time and his speaking abilities to get over with the crow2d. So if this keeps up i am just going to switch the channel during his segment

Glad to see I wasn't alone in thinking its too early to put Edge in the Hall Of Fame. There are still tons of guys just as deserving that have been retired for years and they aren't in the Hall Of Fame. Edge deserves to be there... but not this fast.

Actually, I do think Savage will be inducted this year. It sounds just like the WWE to play off of his death. He deserved it years ago, though.
