Even the most popular sites like T@shy or Bl@cked have 4-5 scenes a month. Woodman is a little better but not by much. Some companies are still pushing scenes of their girls that are long retired so there are no more updates. Like B@sty B@ffy (Lucie Wilde). She has been retired at least 6 months but the site is still running but with no knew scenes from her.

There are plenty of good reasons to join a paysite. I had a six month sub with a site last year and the advantages are clear. Mostly the super fast DL speed and the highest quality content is always available. Unlike fishing for free where you may have to go out searching the net for a better resolution. Not to mention, most sites give you a network of sites with content to check out.

Some sites are changing their methods of delivery making it cost more to download from them but that is making up for all of the freebies floating around. Honestly, if someone has checked out a certain site's content and they really enjoy it, they will only benefit themselves by joining the site and find plenty of content that they were unaware was available.

To illustrate how things were the same then, I got one compilation VHS at LP speed, from the guy behind the counter for $30 but basically there were 3 movies on one bootleg tape. Quailty wasn't as in demand back then because outlets were limited. It was more valuable to get the most footage because there were no HD TVs.

In conclusion:

The ladies want money so the only way to keep'em cummin round, is to throw the dollars once in a while.

Not to sound like a commercial, but videobox has an amazing selection of new and old stuff and at reasonable prices. Every once in a while I start another subscription with them, although I'm sure actresses only make a pittance.

I've also subscribed to services like ECG (which I wouldn't have heard about except through PS). Also, edpowers.com ,,, because I've been watching that guy's porn forever....

Videobox has explored the Netflixy concept, so they pretty much are the Netflix of porn these days....

Videobox is so cheap it's almost sinful (and it's legit/legally owned downloads). I wouldn't mind paying $30 for high quality sites -- although certainly not for more than 3 months....

I agree that keeping a monthly sub is worthwhile, but I think for the people who only want maybe 10 scenes from a porn site, then they should be able to buy those scenes for download. They might not be porn collectors, and only need enough to fill a USB stick, but it's better they paid for that content than download it illegally, no?

I think the F0xyc0mb@t site does something like that. You pay to be a member, then you pay for each additional scene you want to download. Seems to me that is an expensive way for potential/members to get content. I understand some fans may only like a certain model/star, but it would seem cheaper to get an all inclusive membership fee and just download what content you wanted (as long as there were no download restrictions).

That's what I was referring to as well. Leg@lPorno does the same and it can get a tad expensive. I wonder if the actors get a larger cut out of the sale of their scenes since the site gets a premium membership fee before you download anything?

The site I was on was access to download all content so a full site download was possible. I got about %70 - 80 and left the rest.

Some performers make it a lot better than others to have them as a favorite. Some make it a real advantage to be a member, at least pretending to put more of a personal touch to things, to offer private chats/webcams/etc only available to members. There has to be more for your dollar than just scenes. You see the successful people know that.

Yes, porn does need to get personal, that's how it'll stop piracy, but having people pay to be a member AND for the video, that's going too far.
