I have always gotten crappy speeds with wupload on downloads as a premium user. I am in the USA. Usually speeds well below 100 Kb, and sometimes below 30 kb. I avoid wupload links when possible. The only thing that seems to work well for me is remote uploading files from megaupload to wupload.

I really am starting to hate wupload. It is a pain to upload videos. FTP hasn't been working for days. Webupload is giving me errors and remot upload is so slow that it took more than 24h to upload about 1gb of files.
The download speeds are a joke as well these day (I'm a premium user) Heres a pro tip for wupload: If your server infrastructure is already crappy and can't handle the traffic, don't run yet another promo...  Anyway, I am dropping wupload until they fix their problems. |

What's up with Wupload?
Hey folks,
Anyone else having problems with Wupload? I haven't been able to get through to any of their servers to upload or download in the last 20 hours or so. Anyone know what's going on?

Hmm. Maybe its my provider. I was finally able to dl once earlier today, but still haven't had any luck with my uploads.

I've had problems for about a day or two. With JDownloader, I download 1 and 2 files and then get error readings on the rest of a multifile download. Going to their homepage they stated that they were doing maintenance on several of their servers.
Today things are going smoothly, so perhaps this was the problem.

As hosts go, they are about middle of the road. From what I gather they had to scramble with their servers initially. It lead to some entertaining looking downloads with speeds that would drop from 700kbs to 90, then up and down till finished. It could make you sea-sick. Kinda like watching George Stienbrenner fire Billy Martin and then re-hiring him a week later back in the day.
They still get shaky every now and then, so I would use D/L manager with this host regardless. And try not to take them too seriously - I mean they named themselves after the sound an adult might make when crapping their Depends.

Wupload was one of my favorite dl sites. Has good capacity for big DL's, decent speed, etc.
Was working ok for me until today and now all my attempts get this msg: "You can not access this page directly. Please use the website to start your download or contact us in case of problem. If the problem persists, clear your cookies and try again." Cleared my cookies but still no good. Just goes round and round. oh well, maybe i will be lucky tomorrow.
