I like the idea of empowering pornstars.
In certain ways, this idea of empowerment has affected musicians too.
There are plenty of outlets to sell and sample unknown music.
I don't think this caused more people to buy music in general but it cut out the greedy Record Label hands from the equation which allows artists to keep more of what they earned.

The cost is generally quality. No million dollar studios, so sometimes you run across the guy with an acoustic and a karaoke mic recorded simultaneously. I've done that

However, some artists can make that karaoke mic sound amazing

Suckers is a word well put I'd say. Guys who throw their money at girls because they are into findom (financial domination) is one thing. That's a fetish, and they're getting off on it. They're technically getting what they pay for. Guys throwing their money at girls in the deluded, desperate attempt at one day getting into bed with them is infinitely more pathetic and lame I think.
