Think I may have figured something out. The adverts displayed are geo specific. I'm thinking you have a unique one based off of that that others aren't experiencing. I could be wrong but would seem to make the most sense.

Not having 'remember me' ticked is a REAL pain.
If I leave for an hour & I come back & click thanks. OH! I've been logged out and the thanks hasn't registered  Weirder still, bookmarks [to a page in a thread] aren't correct because this registered user has 20 posts per page and unregistered is 10. I can't remember if that's something I set or not.  Anyway, over the last few days I've not had any redirects despite logging in different ways so I'm ticking 'remember me' and we'll see what happens next year.
