Well, as much as I hate to tell people they're wrong, you're wrong.

Looking at the number of people viewing a section is very misleading because of one simple reason. GD and all of it's subsections is open to search and most of those "number of people viewing" are search bots or unregistered guests, not actual registered possibly contributing members of this forum.

The entire Entertainment section here is closed to search completely so the "number of people viewing" is a true reflection of registered users actually viewing the forum.

Right now, I see 233 viewing 3 sections of GD and 103 viewing this section alone.

Based on that information, this section is actually more popular than GD because we have actual members who can contribute if they choose to do so viewing this section, not bots or guests who cannot contribute at all.

The Entertainment Discussion section is a homogenized dog. It was when it was decided to ramrod this edict through the membership and it is now, and while I can't say that it's helped to stick a stake through the actual entertainment sections (TV/Music/Movies...etc.), it sure hasn't helped. Hell, TV's a ghost town unless you are a Becker fan.

Yes, not only Jenny's photo under her Name, but I can personally say she is a Beauty, and her Heart even more so

"Game of Thrones" Battle of Winterfell left fans cheering and complaining -- the latter due to it being too damn dark -- but the cinematographer wants to make it clear ... the gripes aren't his fault.

Fabian Wagner -- who was also the cinematographer on lauded 'Thrones' episodes like "Hardhome" and "Battle of the Bastards" -- tells TMZ, he's aware folks are upset that "The Long Night" looked TOO nightly, and he has an explanation.

First, Fabian believes the pixelation and muddy dark colors fans saw on their TVs and mobile devices are due to HBO's compression of the episode ... which leads to poorer visual quality. This is made worse if it's being viewed on a streaming service with a weak connection ... or in a room that's too bright.

As Wagner puts it ... "[GoT] has always been very dark and a very cinematic show" and should be watched in a dark environment. Ideally, this means viewing it like you would a movie -- in a dark theater.

Since that's not realistic for 'Thrones,' Fabian suggests making your viewing room at home as dark as possible, avoid watching on your phone or in places that are lit up ... and adjust your TV settings.

The cinematographer also points out ... the showrunners and director wanted the episode to be dark. Wagner says the battle scenes were intended to be intense, claustrophobic and disorienting -- like they would be in real life -- but not confusing.

Fabian says, "We tried to give the viewers and fans a cool episode to watch," and he believes they did, adding ... "I know it wasn't too dark because I shot it."

What an a-hole! Well I watched it and it was too dark; on an LG Oled tv that I have calibrated no less!!! The episode was too dark for HBO broadcast and it's limitations/compression that is where it was being broadcast!

I don't think HBO will let this mistake happen again because it makes subscribers aware of its less than HD quality broadcasts. In an article I read it stated that Amazon's bandwidth (or whatever the terminology) is 10 mp/s and HBO's is 5. You can also subscribe to HBO through Amazon and the viewing experience would have been a lot better, if you don't mind watching on your computer screen.

The Lost Boys ending was utter shit. Considering we were told the head vampire (ice zombie) was the only one needed killing why was there even a battle? Bran could've warged into a bird and flew a needle of dragon glass into the T1000. Sorry ice zombie king. The Terminator 2 reference with the burning even down to the sound was a crock.

Biggest GOT episode ever. Bigger often means shitter.
