Most forms of Rock and Metal, but nothing with rap style vocals as thats not metal. Also Northern European folk music, classical, and the odd bit of early 80's pop.

Major thread bumping.
I listen to metal music. To be specific: power, death, black, melodic death, thrash, speed, New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, doom, speed, progressive. Groove metal, metalcore, anything with "-core" sucks in my opinion. I've listened to metal for a little over 4 years. If it wasn't for Metal-Archives, I'd likely not be so well into many different, sometimes obscure, metal bands. In reference to my avatar, Possessed is one of my favorite bands, and they only released two studio albums. Megadeth is my all time favorite (with the 2nd and 4th albums by them occupying the top two spots for favorite metal albums of all time). Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath (I favor the Dio era albums), Motorhead, Helloween, The Lord Weird Slough Feg, Blind Guardian, Overkill, Kreator, Sodom, Destruction, Death, Manilla Road, Virgin Steele, and Gamma Ray. Those are some of my favorite bands. |

I prefer different directions in music:
Rap: Lil Wayne, Eminem, JayZ, Kanye West, Ludacris, Tyga, 50 Cent, Bow Wow, Chris Brown, Yo Gotti, Drake, Kid-Cudi, Wiz Khalifa and others... Rock: Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, Korn, Bullet for my valentine, Saosin, 30 seconds to mars, Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin and other similar groups. Electronic music: Trance, Dub Step Somethimes, when I want to relax: Jazz, Raggy (Bob Marley) or even epic music from Hanz Zimmer, Steve Jablonsky. |

Pretty much all over the spectrum.
Hard rock, most of the 60/70s era, some pop. NO hip-hop or rap-crap.
