Messaging to members seems offline also.

I've sent messages but they don't appear in my sent messages folder, and if an attempt to resend I get the message about only one message per 20 minutes is permitted.

I'm guessing you have that feature enabled; To send a copy of your messages to your 'sent messages' folder. My only advice is, double check it's still enabled, unless the forum shits the bed 72 times in a row, so you can't.

It's possible your settings got jerked around, with the forum being all fucky, all the time.

The forum is broken right now, even for mods and it sucks balls. Long story short, there isn't a lot we can do right now to fix it and I have no idea when it will get fixed. It's anyone's guess.

Just curious [and definitely not picking a fight]. does anyone with actual power to fix things read this thread and take on board what's being written or is this just a place for the frustrated to bitch things out of their system?

Seems like a crapshoot as to whether a site page loads or not. I hope it isn't going to end up like last time there was a big outage. I think site was down for 2 weeks.

Think I'm going to have to start writing down names and scenes I want to search for, because by the time the site actually loads, I've forgotten what the heck I was going to search for!

We have people working behind the scenes. That's about all I know and I'm not a super techie, so it's difficult for me to understand most of this shit anyway.

One day we're going to have to ask ourselves the right questions (technical ones first and foremost, I think) about the long-term future of this site, because at some point the makeshift repairs that have been carried out will no longer suffice and the site will crash for good.

Is there a solution planned to start all over again elsewhere?

How do you intend to communicate with the "few" members to keep them informed (X / Telegram / other distribution channels)?

I understand that it's not possible to import the site's content database into another form of forum, since ours dates back to a time that people under 20 haven't experienced...

In short, we can ask ourselves (legitimate?) questions about the future of our favorite site.
