i never get a captcha on k2s. what am i doing RIGHT?

it says "solve captcha" but then blinks and moves on to the link! like it solved it itself!!

meanwhile, i am getting like 45K/s average on k2s this week. isn't it usually more like 600K?

depositfiles the same, but i'm used to them being slow at times. but for k2s, this is a shocker. 1 hr DLs are taking like 15!

(credit to them for hanging in there the full 15. i know a lot of hosts would flake out 2 hrs in under such circumstances.)

Yeah I don't get a captcha from k2s either. I do for Fboom though....

funny, i switched to chrome today for the first time in ages (usually use edge), and k2s put me thru a captcar!!

not on subsequent DLs, just the first one. #2 onwards acted like edge, threatening captcars but then moving past them on its own.

no more than usual, but if u look about 3 posts back, i pointed out it's been SLOW AS MOLASSES the last coupla months.

unfortunately, it remains the default host for 90% of all tv/movie posts, so we're stuck with it!

I don't think I've been able to complete a successful download in several days now from K2S.

1 gb file download for me in the U.S. with or without VPN takes like 16 hours. Is K2S faster on certain country's servers than others?

I just finished a 1GB K2S dl (no VPN; VPNs almost always slow the speed to a crawl) in about 2 hours. Pretty normal for "claimed" 150kb speed. I rarely dl anything that large, but couldn't find that photoset in a more compressed package. Also in the US, using JDownloader with the Planetsuzy referral. Without the referral I would only see 30kb, which would take around 10 hours for that same file.

I'm in the US and yesterday I downloaded 3 files of around 2.5 GB each in about 4 hours.

I'm in the US. I don't download a lot of files these days, maybe 1 or 2 every other day. I always get 200 kb/s speeds, and, knock on wood, no fails; lately....

I have download files over 2 gig and under 1 gig; maybe 2 hours max. Really no slowed down speed....
