Looks like they are going for a conflicted return of the jedi luke skywalker style John Cena leading up to his match against the rock . Few weeks ago we had piper ramble on and now this week kane doing the same. so are they hinting that cena is heading towards the dark side . The matches with kane will bring this out of Cena and he will leave the ring as a full blown killer ha ha ha . not . but whatever, it is different. I did think it was an interesting end to raw . Cena turning heel though ? I can't see it happening .
I'm pretty excited about Chris Jericho returning . Should be a real good feud vs cm cena, sorry cm punk would be funny if it wasn't Jericho this miz vs truth feud should be riveting (sarcasm alert) |

As for Y2J--i would not be surprised if Vince pulled a fast one since all the rumors have been saying it is Y2J. And have someone new or from the past be unleashed. How cool would it be if it were Taker???? I doubt it but would be awesome

So, I just finished last night's Raw. I fucking loved it.
I definitely see the wheels turning with Kane. He's not trying to provoke a feud-- he's trying to recruit Cena. What I said a couple of weeks ago about a heel stable is something I can definitely smell from here. Kane is trying to break him down to the point where he realizes the fans he has claimed to be there for have turned against him. At that point, he'll be weakened, and Kane will build him up in 'the dark side'. At that point, other frustrated wrestlers will join up. I can see it happening. They've been working on the fact that the fans hate Cena, and you could see more than ever that it got to him at the end of the show. It's happening. Those of us who have been waiting for SuperCena to be shot down are about to get what they want. If we aren't, then why are the writers pushing in that direction? I love this shit, and that's something I haven't said about the WWE in a long time. I don't have a problem with a masked Kane speaking. I said "No, no, no" when he picked up a mic in the beginning, but his speech was definitely both thought-provoking and intimidating. As for Punk, he's the unfortunate heir to the cloak. When Cena turns, it's on him to be invincible. As a fan of Punk, I fucking hate that. Lately, I've been seeing it more and more. I don't have a problem with him getting a push, but setting him up to face four guys? The very thought of it implies too much. However, I'm glad they didn't go through with it and gave a mid-carder a push. Ziggler's character is weak, but I've been waiting for him to move up for a long time now. It would be a win-win if he wins the title-- we'll get a replacement for Del Rio, and Punk lessens his overbold image. Maybe I misunderstood the phone call Laurenitus had, but I believe he confirmed that the returning talent is Brodus Clay. It doesn't make much sense, seeing as Clay was low-card at best, but that's what it sounded like to me. However, if it is Jericho who is returning, he'll definitely get a straight shot into Kane's pack. With promos like that, there's no way he won't be a heel. I know I'm basing a lot on one theory, but I'm seeing a lot of things in front of me. After something like five years, it's easy to say that Cena will never turn, but we've never seen anything like this. |

I think Laryngitis is going over-board with Brodus that everybody will be sick of hearing Brodus' name. The Cena storyline is a long time coming. I hope Kane mastered the "Jedi-mind-trick."

Cena will end up beating Kane and nothing will change . I can't see any stable . to me this is just to kill time before cena vs rock . cena will beat rock and rock will go make more movies and cena will still be hated by a lot of adults, loved by all the kids and that is it. wwe get their good wrestlemania buyrate and we will go back to the norm.

I didn't want to just come out and say I disagree with everything you said, saintsdecay . it was a good post but I just can't see much or any of it happening. I'm glad you have some faith that something will change though. |

Oh, it's fine if you do. I'm sure most have and will, and I don't take it personally. It's just how I am with wrestling-- when I see new and interesting things developing, I like to try to figure out where it will go in my head.
If we're calculating what is about to happen based on history, I'd say you guys are right about nothing changing. However, it's just the unspoken statements that are being made right now that leads me to believe huge changes are coming. I could be wrong, but sometimes you need a little faith. Cena will be heel by Mania. All the crumpets in Ireland are still up for grabs. |

I really dont see Cena going heel by Mania--He is the face of the company and I can not think of a time where a heel was the face for the company. Maybe J2J but he swithches back and fourth all the time. Austin was just a reckloose and that was the attitude era.

Johnny Ace never said that Clay is the one that the promos have been for. If you look at the videos, it signifies that 'He is returning"...now while many of us remember Clay being Del Rio's lackey not that long ago, he is being pushed as the DEBUTING Brodus Clay, not the RETURNING Brodus Clay. Two different things. I point this out because after all these great vignettes, I really don't want this mystery wrestler to BE Brodus Clay...hahaha.
As far as the Kane/Cena storyline goes, I don't see them turning such a huge money generating powerhouse such as a face Cena heel. Just my opinion, but as much as I didn't like Kane "speaking out" Monday, I did like his promo...I missed psycho Kane...hahaha. Also, I am really looking forward to the Ziggler v Punk match. I'm very high on Ziggler, although I liked his "Perfection" gimmick over his "Show Off" gimmick but whatever, he's fun to watch in the ring and I look forward to seeing him and Punk battle for the title. |
