Smackdown was pretty good.

The Miz becomes less and less intimidating as each week goes by. He looks like one half of a mid 90's jobber tag team who's name I can't remember . They are still trying to present him as a tough guy but when he was talking down to Teddy Long I thought this guy can't be for real.

Dolph Ziggler needs some groupies with him backstage when he is cutting a promo like that . That is where Vickie come in handy I suppose.

Looks like they are continuing with Booker T vs Cody. No surprise really and Booker T looked ok at TLC . I never once thought of Ric Flair when the match was on. You have to expect him to get one win and Cody to win in the end .

I'm not going to try and predict a royal rumble card now. I know I said before about punk vs the miz but I'm not sure now. I guess it will something to get punk over more if it happens. No problems I suppose.

I have said all along I just can't see The Miz as a bad ass tough guy. He is like a chihuahua (all bark and no bite). I remember when he started in WWE as the runt of the litter and jobbed week after week. I can't see him as a main eventer carrying the card.

I'm in the same boat concerning Miz. I get that he has never really been used to intimidate anyone for any long period of time, but I just see him as a joke and have since he was spat out of MTV's dingleberry of a show. I feel like his character is little more than a guy who's pissed off all the time for no discernible reason, which is no different than the problem I have with a lot of the WWE's wrestlers. I've heard time and time again on pro-wrestling forums from smarks that they love his work, but I just couldn't jump on that bandwagon. I love a good heel, but "Really? Really? Really? I'm Awesome" just doesn't cut it for me.

To tell you the truth, though, I can't remember him as a face. I've taken breaks from wrestling here and there over the years, and if he was, I'm sure I missed it. I just can't imagine it either. I mean, he's had a lot of main-event matches and held reputable titles, but he just can't sell his reason for being there as a heel, and I can't see him doing any better as a face. I don't think his character could even consist of anything because everything it consists of now is all surrounding the fact that he's pissed off. He'll continue to have big matches, but he has never been main-event caliber in my eyes. Of course, as I've stated before, that's not because of a lack of ability-- you have to sell why you're there on the mic.

I'm sure you know now that it was just a regular show. I haven't been able to watch it yet but I did read spoilers.

Dolph Ziggler earns a title match for next week against cm punk.

During that match or after it is when I expect Mr January 2nd to make an appearance or change the world or do whatever he says he is going to do.

They have already humanised Kane. awk

I didn't like that they had Kane talk so soon, but it was gonna happen eventually. Without a manager, it was gonna have to happen. I like that he is being made to be a heel though. Evil Kane vs Cena is something different than the usual Cena in the title hunt.

And speaking off the title hunt, I'm glad to see that Miz has seemingly been pulled from the title picture for now to continue in his feud with the newly returned R Truth. And I also like tha Dolph Ziggler is gonna be getting a shot at CM Punk's WWE Championship next week and while yes it will probably end in a no contest when this mystery person returns since they'll probably interfere in the match, at least having Ziggler in the title hunt gives us something a little different.

Shouldn't the WWE put a bib on truth? He spits a lot when he talks.
They should have left Kane's wrestling speak for him. Have him just "walk-away" from questions, no laughing.
