It was trippy with Ryder,Punk and Danielson all standing in the ring as champions at the start of Raw.

I thought Raw was pretty good. so I'm guessing John Cena vs Kane at the royal rumble and cm punk vs the miz from raw. from smackdown daniel bryan vs big show, I guess since big show is a former champ he will get his rematch ? Big show showing some possible heelish behaviour on raw. |

Going into the show last night, I thought for sure that Bryan was going to lose the belt in tonight's tapings, but after the show I'm not nearly as sure. I'd like to see a match with him and Show (face vs face) in which Show is pretty much dominating but shows just a bit of weakness/hesitation and gets caught with a quick pin or submission hold. And then Show goes full-on heel and destroys Bryan post-match. It'd help get Bryan over as champ and would be a sensible heel turn.
And, agreed with eagleeagle - trippy is the very word that I'd use. I recently watched a Punk/American Dragon match from IWA-MS from 2004, and it's insane that those two guys are the world & heavyweight champs. In terms of deputyduffy's question: What I'd do & what I'd want them to do is never close to what they actually do, so I tend to root for the guys that I like to do well & not botch anything even if I'm pretty sure that they're going to lose. Ziggler loses like 2 out of every 3 matches (or has to cheat to win) and yet I still root for him more than anyone. And to go back to the comparison between AirBoom & the teams from the 80s. I'm old enough to remember watching them in the Crockett era NWA, and from like day 1 was a mark for the Midnites and absolutely hated the R&Rs. The R&Rs pretty much perfected the American tag formula, and put on good matches with just about everyone but still bored the piss out of me. |

When certain things happy they will make me happy and I go this is why I'm a wrestling fan . I Have to sit through shit loads of rubbish to get there but depending on the situation it makes it worth it.

in terms of supporting wrestlers. Crush was my guy in 1993 . great to be a kid and know nothing. He kept losing and I kept believing . how things changed. yeah baby. I think Ricky Morton is still rockin that Mullet. Very much doubt he gets as much Pussy these days. Quote:
it should just play it out like Bryan was taking his opportunity but will give big show a rematch whenever he wants it, just to show he is a man of honour and your usual bullshit, just real simple stuff that is normal. They do the match at the royal rumble and Daniel Bryan wins and we go from there. Unless they are going to continue then there is no reason to turn anybody . I might have turned Bryan before but not now. Not unless he loses tonight. Ok I'll stop It has not been a bad year at all for Big Show. |

Relax
no ranting or rambling for once. I just read the Smackdown spoilers and thankfully Daniel Bryan is still the world champion. Merry Christmas, Vince. And you can't really say this is a true spoil the show spoiler. that is all. |

Is it I, or do most of these "new matches" seem like they are re-runs?

pretty good guarantee that most matches you see today, you have seen 30 times before.
Or a couple of months ago I was certainly saying it when I watched Jack Swagger vs Evan Bourne part 40 and they were right in the same place, going nowhere. but right now certain players seem to be moving on the board so we get some different matches , or reruns that mean a bit more than they did a few months ago. But I can't argue with you. |
