And for a dude who has shot such extreme stuff for so long, there are precious few bad stories about him - at least as far as I know.

My one issue I have always had with him is his focus on anal. It's not a particular kink of mine but it's a big factor in a lot of his work. Were it not for that, I would probably watch a lot more of his stuff.

I remember in summer 2013 when Rocco said he would quit shooting porn and at least partially retire (he went back in front the camera a good few times though afterwards), he said in an interview he saw modern porn (read "the advent of LegalCircus") as too digusting for him (the interview was in French, he also called it "boucherie", "butchery", which in French means gratuitous brutality/gore). He added that while he was always rough and a bit brutal, he always acted like a super horny man would act with a super horny girlfriend (including the swinging stuff).

But now that he sees videos having borderline (at the time, now almost full-blown) mandatory violent nonsense like TPP or TAP, he finds it's disgusting even for him, that it's not porn but meat packing, and he said at the time it didn't appeal to him, and he felt like his time in the business was over, because that kind of stuff he'd rather not do.

I don't think he's gone back on his word with what he produced between 2013 and now, but then again I didn't follow it all because his stuff is not always my style, but if he did, lemme chalk one up to him.
