I see this discussion about sex workers not working with X person all the time. While I won't give my opinion on the matter, I do notice a common trend. However, on the rare occasion that someone does not wish to work with a white male and someone complains that they're not working with white males, crickets. No one seems to care. I've noticed this trend across many different porn forums. It leads me to believe that a lot of the people who claim to be looking out for the best interests of these sex workers are only doing it for their own selfish interests and enjoy the idea of "gatekeeping" sex workers from other people. Now, I'm not saying anyone in this thread specifically is doing that but it's some food for thought that I am sure others have noticed.

i think there'd be crickets, same as blacklime says.

we are all used to affirmative action in various sectors of society. latinx student clubs, black hair salons, "secret menu" in asian restos. maybe not right, but it's out there.

as a white guy, i still find those more acceptable than a white-run club/business doing the reverse. there's a history here.

i can't really argue with a persons personal reasons , i understand that , and im okay with it. but at the same time a double standard does exist. And the double standard is usually in favor of the white man. it is what it is though. This is not the hill im going to die on thats for sure lol . people can do what they want at the end of the day.

i will just point out here that in several asian countries (korea, i know for sure), the gals won't engage with foreigners. at best, u need a sympathetic mama-san to ask for volunteers from among them, where someone may or may not step forward.
