Though it has not to be one-way only. Otherwise it's both counterproductive and frustrating.

Give her the attentions she needs. After a hard day at work, she surely would love some kisses, cuddles, massages and some romantic things as well to ease some stress, before doing the rest.

It depends, man.
If someone has severe depression coupled with suicidal thoughts, or he's bipolar or schizophrenic, then he must definitely seek help.

But if he just suffers from occasional anxiety and stress, there's definitely no need to.
Some good sex will work just fine, than becoming addicted to Xanax or some other drug.
If anything, those drugs will only make you sleep and tired all day. And they will fuck up your emotions as well, overtime.

Been there, myself, from 17 to 25, after been diagnosed with PTSD and depression.
My mother was a bed-ridden cancer patient. And it was definitely traumatic watching her slowly dying, after having fought cancer for nearly 3 years.
It was definitely no fun at all.
And when she finally passed away, I have lost everything. My best friends, my first job, everything.
I was so down that I became a recluse. Didn't gone out or spoke to anyone for nearly 5 years.
So I needed help.

The Xanies and the antidepressants did worked good for the first 2 years. But, after that, they no longer worked as they should've. Meanwhile, I also lost my libido, and had GI problems all the time, including stomach ulcers.
So I needed to get off from that crap.

What helped, at the end, was Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I went to one of those meetings where people with alcohol, gambling and drug problem gather together, and the rest was history.
I, eventually, discovered Buddhism, and that has become my everyday's life philosophy.

I'm 32, now. My libido is back and rock-solid than it ever was before, and I feel just great.
Although I miss dating. I would've definitely loved to get married and have kids, and dogs and other pets.
Maybe one day.......

I posted that fish analogy in another thread yesterday.

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him to fish and feed him for a lifetime.
