Ultimately, we (as in the Staff at PlanetSuzy) have no control over what's happening:

We are as I seem to always have to remind some members - volunteers selected from the membership, we aren't paid.

The access we have to the 'inner workings' of PlanetSuzy is limited to some tools/add-ons/mods in the back end of vBulliten 3 (as amended by vB Optimise.)

Whatever is causing these issues, it's beyond 'our' capacity to 'fix' - all we can do is record it, pass it up the line, and someone - presumably LarryO, hands it all over to the System Admin to look at.

Whatever is annoying you, trust me (as I also seem to have to keep pointing out) it annoys us more:

• Posting here when there are issues is a problem.
• Moderating here when there are issues is a practical impossibility.

You want to point out problems with this Forum's workings this is probably the best thread to do it in, if only so we have an easy record of what's going on to 'chuck upstairs.'

Trust me, I'd love to give you an 'easy answer,' but I'm not going to lie and give you something I don't have.

I have a suspicion it's probably a server issue, but no-one here, of any colour, has access to the servers, I'm not even sure if the System Admin does, I suspect he/she has to moan at the hosting service.

Then why was a tread dedicated to this issue shut down by a Staffer?

Surely he/she could have said the same as you, but didn't: he/she simply nuked that thread.

I speak as a long standing member who was hit with an over one year infraction for something that is not against our rules, so please forgive me for not automatically trusting anyone here...
