Children Of Bodom - "Halo Of Blood" (Finnish Melodic Death/Power Metal)  This album was released in June, and the reason it took me so long to get to this is being hesitant. Their albums after Hate Crew Deathroll sucked, too much pop pandering, groove infused stuff, and dumbing down their highly show-offish brand of music. The difference here is that I breezed through reviews, all of them on Metal-Archives are positive, saying a "return to form." So I might as well try and judge if that's actually true. |
