what happened to dfiles???
It used to be the most reliable host for free users, now they want us to install an plugin for JD and when I download via browser I have to wait 100 seconds for 50kb/s? |

Since it has to use an actual web browser, the plugin is needed to communicate between the browser and JD. They were using SolveMedia (and had years ago used something else), but almost all the filehosts that used to use SolveMedia have since switched to others. Rapidgator is one of the few still using SolveMedia. This is no different than any other filehost that uses ReCaptcha or HCaptcha. |

Scenes posted to DF are being removed within days of initial posting. Same thing going on at VEF. Almost every link I've come across, even if they were first posted only two days ago, is fucking gone.
Something is def up. Anyone hear anything? |

The DF file retention policy change from 3 months to 2 months makes a big difference! I used to be able to find all sorts of files at the beginning of threads with DF downloads but lately those links have been dead regularly.
I think it will prove a really bad move, at least at this forum, for DF to remove files after 2 months of inactivity. I myself am currently downloading one of my own files as it was due to be removed today. Lucky to have caught it before it was removed as I don't have the file. It's a real pain. I didn't used to have check files regularly. I do now! |

The degree of throttling has made this host unusable... 150KBs for a moment followed by 40 KBs for another moment follwoed by even longer periods where its 0 KBs. Terrible!
