I'm on the fence when it comes to Johnny Castle. He has some-- SOME scenes where he gives an excellent performance and he's not a distraction factor at all; however, he has way too many scenes where he gives a half-hearted performance and has this almost emotionless look on his face that makes him look like a big, dumb animal

I don't think I've ever seen a Johnny Castle scene that really stood out to me in any way - either good or bad. He doesn't really do anything annoying, he's just boring. IMO there are far, far worse mopes than him.

His Naughty America scenes are by far his worse and most boring ones in my opinion. The only one from NA that I liked was this scene he had with Janice Griffith. I do agree with you about there being even worse mopes than him.
