Anyone else having "network connection was lost" errors like me?

if i had to guess, the shutting down of 0penload has forced or redirected a lot of traffic to k2s, possibly causing the super slow speeds as of late... the timing seems to match up. 0penload hosted a huge share of the market, so with it gone, the biggest host on the block is having to carry the load - pun intended

with holidays coming up and more people at home literally jerking off, chances are it's gonna get slower before it gets faster. not sure what the long term bigger outlook is, but without an 0penload type of host (super fast speeds even for free users, plus the option to watch embedded instead of download), im not sure k2s will be able to handle the added traffic unless they sell enough accounts to maybe grow their infrastructure in order to meet up with the huge uptick in volume imo. until then i imagine dl's from k2s will remain slow - at least for free users (like me).

So in other words we've got about 4-8 weeks worth of downloading hell to look forward to until things go back to normal right?

It really is bizarre. If I click on the link and direct download in my browser, and I get 200 kb/s and not lost connections. If I copy and paste into Jdownloader2, I get 30 kb/s and lost connections roughly 1/3 of the time. At least with Filejoker, I can copy and paste a thread link into the Plugins tab and I get consistent speeds of 100 kb/s or so, and wait times of roughly 45 minutes. I wonder if that's possible here? I'll give that a shot....

Has anyone else noticed that new downloads get 200 kb/s download speeds and older links get 150 kb/s? I had actually thought Fboom had decided to up the speed to 200 but now I have realized that isn't the case. 200 really makes a big difference in download time compared to the 150 I have been used to.

Holy Crap! I have never heard of this trick before. I find links all the time in a certain other forum that I then go on long searches to find elsewhere because I know if I download it from their page I will get 30-50 kb/s download speed!

I am going to try that next time that happens! Hope I understand the trick. That is very cool!

The only one I know of is Dasan.co, and it's not particularly reliable. It seems to be time sensitive. If you want to use it to get something off of K2S/Fileboom/Tezfiles, you need to use it around 7-8 PM EST, which is when K2S/FB/TF reset their data cap.

I'm not getting anything but failed dls from k2s the last couple of days. I'll restart it and it will fail again over and over. Kinda sucks since most files posted here are on k2s.
