I won't second guess AEKara's motives, but I'm sure that thanks given represent only a part of the criteria here: the main factor taken into consideration would surely be that of the quality of the posts.

I happen to think Seven Churches posts are good, and reflect a considerate and intelligent member.

If he happened to be promoted to VIP, I wouldn't bat an eyelid in surprise.

Not "every post" and "every thread." A pet peeve of mine are generalizations like that, unless it's seen as humor. I give thanks if I like the post. Trust me, I read all the posts in a thread that I click on. It can be interpreted as a "thanks for sharing," or a "thanks" for making a very good post. I know there are members around this board that I know will make a good post on something, and I don't hesitate with a thanks.

Besides, I like a lot of stuff. I give a shit ton of thanks in subscribed threads of mine with content posts. That's more of a "thanks for uploading" as well as the performer involved. I don't give thanks to stuff that gets too personal. Such as a heated argument that goes beyond getting a point across. I also wouldn't give thanks to posts that I consider inconsiderate or heartless.

So my hands not on the thanks button. Moreover, my hands on my cock. I don't need to explain why, this is a porn forum anyways.

Let me go beyond clicking the button in this: thank you Alexora for your comments on myself.

VIP status is not solely based on THANKS! Audience participation is the key and it is up to a mod to spot you and nominate you. If you have only given 20 thanks in 4 years you have fuck all chance as a community player. I'm not asking you to thank every post, just the ones you enjoy, agree with, disagree with, but thank the member for taking the time to contribute to the forum. It's mutual.

It would appear that even if you read my post, you didn't understand its meaning.

As for the VIP thing, I have no say in the decision making process: I simply stated that Seven Churches seems to me to have the right stuff.

Do the staff agree with me? Does Seven Churches have a tarnished disciplinary record? Do they care about this opinion of mine? I have no idea.

Just because I'm a VIP, it doesn't mean I get to pick and choose my fellow Orange colleagues.
I can predict some, but there are others who are elevated to the position of whom I never even read a single post, and others that keep surprising me by remaining registered members. So what do I know...?
