Monroe was running a strip joint of hers, and a 17 year girl managed to use a fake ID to come in and dance. Monroe and husband were arrested, charged with a felony under the idea that they knew or or should have known.
Fighting the charges could have resulted in 10 years, so it was decided to take a plea bargain of contributing to the deliquency of a minor.

April 21, 2010:

It is now exactly 13 months since our arrest. we have been working so hard to stay afloat financially. However, 6 weeks ago, my husband left me. I think it was the stress and all the pressure of this case coming to a head. I believe he shared some resentment towards me in some way. His brother was my manager. He was the man at the door as well. He checked her ID and she also showed the ID that she used to two other employees. However, in order to play it safe, we accepted the plea bargain to plea to a misdemeanor of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Although we would rather fight the charges all together, i have my son to think about, as well as my future. Fighting the charges at trial could result in being found guilty and sentenced to 10 yrs in jail.

I have officially lost everything except my son. I have been working a menial job and now that i am down to a one person income, the answer is yes to the above question. To a degree, i will re-enter the adult industry. I will not be doing adult films. I havent figured out anything concrete yet, but i will definitely have togo back to something. I am trying to hold out as long as i can and try to live off of student loans. I graduate in may with honors in criminal justice and i have been accepted into the accelerated nursing program and hope to pursue a career as a surgical nurse. My husband leaving was the icing on the cake. i am working every day to try to keep it together. I have been emotionally ripped apart.

By the way, i did review the tape of the girl doing a dance. There was absolutely no touching between her or the patron. It was the cleanest dance i had ever seen. It is clear in the security tape that the patron reached forward to rub her pregnant belly as it looked as if they were talking about the baby kicking. Only in WV right? What a freakin hillbilly this girl was……she is pathetic. Her own father is writing a letter to the judge on my behalf and has even had a conversation with one of my witnesses stating that he knows his daughter is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

What i find so terrible, is that a group of people can conspire to shut a business down, and totally destroy the life of someone and feel absolutely no remorse for their lie.

That is a grave in justice within our system that i can only hope the new generation of criminal justice students can help to clean up.

One of the things I've noticed since looking at all of these people's mug shots is that they're all pretty dull and plain. It just speaks volumes about how make-up, lighting and all of those other theater tricks have helped make these people appear semi-glamorous. I guess in the eyes of the law it doesn't mean a hill of beans if you've got great 38 DDs, a 12" dick or whatever. Be an idiot, get busted and you'll soon have your face looking all pathetic for all to see.
