yet to find anyone out there who beats ht*p://stellarinfo.com/
for $50? can't beat that unless the drive is physically dead. it will find your deleted files. it will take time but it will recover every sector I had a um certain version of Version 3 ahem but I loved it so much I bought it. because it saved my ass more than once. Have V5. I see V6 is out.. windows or mac. or unix etc.

I had forgot about GetDataBack. According to their website it recovers directories and file names. It's not free, so well you know While you're at it you should also gran a copy of Hirens Boot CD. Go to their website and read up on it. There are a lot of useful tools on it It's at hiren.info

"GetDataBack", I had TOTALLY forgotten about this incredible program! I recovered files a few years ago but I couldn't remember the name of it, but this one rings a bell for me. I believe I've already used this program before. Will definitely try it out! Thanks

Try CnW it's good enough that many forensics use it.
Data loss sucks :/ I burn well over 1TB a month 500gb +1 copy of everything for warez, movies , porn, games I know, I'm working on it. Stacks of highly encrypted "because I'm an asshole" BRD and crappy 250 gb laptop HDD's. Not sure if hoarding applies to digital data. |
