Yes, but I'd also have to say the porn studios did as well by not giving residuals to the women to make them really want to keep working for them. They get paid once, and that's it. Plus, there is next to no care put aside for these women when it's clear they need help. My point is every few years someone takes the kink up a notch. It's not just the medium (magazines, VHS, DVD, digital, etc.)- it's us looking for the next thrill. Bud Bones is partly right about how Onlyfans ruined it. It used to be some random gorgeous chick would show up and start her career from there, but now, they either come from Onlyfans, Pornhub or Chaturbate, so they aren't fully invested in to porn industry from the beginning because they know they can fall back on any of those options. One of the new starlets Kazumi said she made 500k per month just on Onlyfans. That is probably around the ballpark and not exact, but the point is that she could quit porn and be fine for years. So you're not going to get the girl doing their best work, bts stories of girls fighting for their spot and being really territorial [I think the last one was Remy LaCroix] or making memorable scenes because the truth is that not as much is on the line, and you don't have to try as hard.

Puke seems to be "the next thing", for some studios with the level of LP.
