You know what, people?
I honestly don't give a rat ass fuck about Will or Jada's private life and their sexual preferences (I would've been pissed off, too, if someone criticized my private life). They could fuck whoever they want, and they also can do drugs, if they like they want to. It's their life. Period. I grew up with Fresh Prince, Men In Black and Bad Boys, and I think Will Smith is just a very good, versatile actor. Not to mention a funny person, too. I liked him a lot in Seven Pounds and Collateral Beauty. And, as far as Chris Rock goes, well: he sucks. The dude sucked ass in that "Spiral" shit-SAW Reboot, so much that he made Samuel Jackson the "star" with his "Mothafucka" comments, in that shitty movie. Go home, kiddo. Take some real acting classes, then try to arrive where Will Smith is at, and then we talk about making jokes about other people lives.

The moron in question would be Chris Rock, for making fun of someone else's wife.
What if Jada had cancer or Leukemia? I would've definitely broke his fucking jaw, if he only dared to make a joke about my wife, or some other family member of mine. There's no excuse to make fun of someone else's family and their private lives, regardless of whether you like it or not.

The fact of the matter is the Academy Awards have been a snoozefest for years. It seems like if you've made an appearance on Saturday Night Live you're qualified to be a host for the Academy Awards, I don't know I guess my idea of funny is different than theirs. Last night's hosts were a joke in my opinion, Bring back Billy Crystal or maybe even Jon Stewart, both are Masters at working a crowd
The bottom line is viewership hit an all-time low last year and depending on who you talk to that was either just over 10 million or just under 10 million and I would be really surprised if it came even close to that last night. |

Chris Rock should reconsider his comedy routine more often. I never found that guy to be that funny. He always tries too hard be just like Richard Pryor. One thing is doing stand up comedy at a midnight-theater-bar where usually "anything is said and goes", because the audience is very drunk, and the other thing is doing a stand-up comedy routine on live TV for a world-wide audience. Jokes about someones wife, someones children, someones Mother and joking about death + war is usually not considered funny. Those are the "no rules". Because millions of people worldwide have felt (or are feeling) that serious drama at the moment. Most people living in Hollywood do NOT KNOW what that "drama" feels like, because they are living in a dream land of million-dollar houses (Cribs) and all the fancy things in life. Reality does not exist in their life. It´s great to see other countries (such as Canada ) making their mark on Hollywood La-La-Land and showing everyone that it is possible to create amazing films outside the USA. For years now Hollywood has become too expensive a place to make and produce films - Everyone is moving out ! Even the Porn industry ! Moving to other U.S. states and even other countries. They all offer better conditions and the same equipment for a any winning film, AND with only half the price.

Americans can deny it all they want until they're blue in the face but the fact of the matter is without Canada and Canadians there would be no Hollywood the only reason why it was in California is because of the mild winters even though one of the first major Studios was in Trenton Ontario Canada. Canadians started a number of Studios back in the beginning of film and for a Time the majority of the actors were also Canadians.

Two of the most important names in the history books if you look back at the beginning of Hollywood were Mary Pickford who was "America's Sweetheart" and was not only the first major Hollywood Superstar but she did a lot of good behind the scenes and for a time was the most powerful woman in the industry along with Mack Sennett who started behind the camera... fyi, both were Canadians. We can't forget about America's other sweetheart Fay Wray... also Canadian. She was actually born in Cardston Alberta about an hour's drive away from my Southern Alberta property just north of the American Border. Interestingly on a somewhat related topic Al Capone owned a property right in between where she was born and where I have my property. I could go on for days about how Canadians shaped Hollywood but you get the point. It's no coincidence that Industrial Light & Magic quickly bought up my production company (which I continue to run) less than a month after I was able to reproduce and undercut one of their CGI productions by 90%. Currently we have a somewhat happy marriage with Disney who owns ILM LOL ----------------- Thanks to maxhitman for continuing to enjoy my posts as I do yours |

And Australia and New Zealand too, c'mon.
Without Australia and New Zealand, there would have been no Peter Jackson, no Wachowski brothers/sisters and definitely no Matrix at all. Just the fact that the first 3 Matrix movies were shot between Australia and Canada, definitely tells a lot. But, anyway. For me, personally, the best era of Hollywood is from the late 70's up till 2010. Anything that came after that period, with only a few exceptions, here and there (like Moonlight, Green Book, 3 billboards outside Ebbing), is pure shit for the most part.

Chris Rock joke was unprofessional and unpropried and give as an indication what kind of comedian is.
Will Smith action was unethical and give as an indication what kind of human being is. They trully live in a 'bubble' out there in Hollywood with serious problem behavior. |

The dude won't date any woman that's not a model and that's over 25yo. Quite like his character in The Wolf Of Wall Street, definitely. Will Smith, regardless of what he did, at least he has a stable family and a wife. But DiCaprio? He's 43, he has never got married, has a fat ass and he still run over younger girls. I think if there is someone in Hollywood that needs to literally grow up is DiCaprio, as his career and reputation have been HEAVILY influenced by his dating habits.
