Egg Tortilla Scramble
Last edited by MasterBates; 12th November 2022 at 12:05.
Combine 8 eggs in a bowl and scramble them as normal then add 1/4 cup salsa & mix them together Melt butter in a pan then add egg mixture and cook like scrambled eggs once set or "done" add 1 cup of shredded cheese (any kind will do I use chedder) and kind of "mix" it in until melted...then crumple a couple tortilla chips (or doritos or taco shells you cooked in the microwave for 50-60 seconds to make them crisp) crushing them up and mixing them into the...mixture and thats it...enjoy |

Peppers And Kielbasa Sausage: CrockPot Style
1 Cup water tsp black pepper 1/2 tsp salt 3 packages kielbasa 4 large green bell peppers 3 large red peppers 5 medium sized serrano peppers Add water and spices to crock pot. Cut kielbasa into 3-inch wheels and place evenly around bottom of pot. Rinse and clear out red and green peppers. Cut them into half-sized portions, layering them atop sausage. Rinse serranos, then cut into one-inch sections and layer on top other peppers. Add two cups water. Top with pepper and salt if desired. Cover and set to LOW. Cook for 7 hours, adding a half cup water every two hours. * Looks basic. And it is. But wait until you taste the broth. |

Finally transferred some recipies to the old comp...
French Omlete 3 eggs 2 tblspns butter 2 tblspns salt (or salt to taste I use 1) whisk eggs in a bowl thoroughly until you see no white (about 30 seconds) add a good pinch of salt, stir that in melt 2 tblspns butter in a curved pan (any pan will work tho) @ medium heat until the butter stops bubbling then add eggs with a whisk stir the eggs while movinhg the pan back and forth over the heat basically you want to corral the eggs into the bottom the the pan by whiskingn them in that direction after the initial back and forth action (this is similar to making scrambled eggs but you want to smooth the eggs in the corner of the pan making them look like a piece of bread...do this with a spatula) you can smooth it out across the entire pan or just in the corner like I tend to do but it should look like your making a pizza instead of eggs now its time to roll, Lift the handle up w/ your left hand anduse the spatula to help you gently roll it from the top to bottom. use spatula to fold it back on top then slide it onto a plate and flip it over if you need it (Different Version) MBs Sloppy Filled Omlete Same as above except dont use salt (maybe just a tiny bit) Do all of the above except when you smooth the eggs we are going to add filling to the omlete this can be almost anything...salmon, small cubed ham, bacon Ive even done sausage gravy and it worked quite well Once its smoothed down either side of the pan take you filling (in this case it will be a ham & cheese omlete but you can choose your own ingredients just make sure they are cooked prior) So you take cheese and you put it straight down the middle of the egg (you can slice the egg in half if you want cause this one will not roll...then put the ham pieces right down the middle of that sort of spreading it all out across the egg but keeping it in the middle, then just fold it over top of itself or if you cut it in half just flip one on top of the other and kinda press it down a bit to glue the two pieces together Thats it...put it in a container and do the same thing over and over till you run out of ingredients keep in mind the chees glues bacon and ham and so on together but if you create sausage gravy you dont need cheese... I keep trying to think of other stuff to put in there! in the original recipie the person put herb and salmon 2 tblespns herbs (dill chives) 1 oz cooked smoked salmon salt to taste |
