Remember, the seasons are reversed. November & December are warm. Jan & Feb can be unpleasantly hot.

And I always thought that Malibu, Miami, New York, Tokyo, Dubai, Qatar and Switzerland were the most favorite cities by millionaires.......hmmm I grew up in Sydney (spent most of my childhood, there), although I would still prefer to migrate to either the USA or the UK. You know? I never liked the fact that you have to make MILES to go from one place to another, and the fact that there aren't as many people around but just desert and wild animals. That, and the fact that there aren't as many Metal-Rock music festivals as in the UK or the USA is what turns me off the most about Australia. For a vacation, OK. But for living, there, forever, nah. It start to grow tired on you, after being there for years (as it did, with me). I understand that the quality of life is better in Australia vs the UK vs the USA. Won't deny it. But, still. The USA and the UK both have that "special something" that always make me attracted to them, somehow.

But anything, right now, is better than Italy which, with the pandemic first, and now the Ukrainian crisis, it has become a shadow of what it was after WWII. No wonder why it occupies the 136 spot in the list of the most under-developed and economically-corruption-inflated countries, next to Nigeria. Sure, it has nice places and cities to visit, like Venice, Florence, Rome and Milan. But living here, right now, is one hell of a nightmare, both for the elderly as well people in their 20s-40s.

ABoyBrushedRed,
What exactly do you want to see down here in Oz? - Particular culturals themes? - Particular beaches, forests, scenery etc? - City lifestyles/night life? - Iconic attractions like Uluru, Great Barrier Reef, Sydney Opera House? Thing is, 2 weeks doesn't even scratch the surface. I've lived my whole life here and haven't seen probably 1% of the place. Depends also where you are flying into. Will you be landing in Perth or Sydney? Ask me anything and I'll try and help |

IMHO, at least a month is necessary to visit, at least, Sydney and the surrounding areas.
But for a 2 weeks vacation, I would definitely have an agenda of the things I want to see. Quote:

I note that you are based in Sicily, a beautiful island with awesome food. Here in London the chances of getting proper Sicilian pasta con le sarde is virtually impossible...
