Thought I was looking forward to the rumble. Ended up skipping everything stopping for the moments. Bayley was eh whatever, Roman was too obvious, next match was filler, was most interested in the mens but fuck I ain't countdown simping for mostly jobbers who everyone knows ain't winning. Pat on comms grating away because he gets to seemingly do whatever he wants. Fucking 4 hour runtime just wasn't happening either. Felt I'd have rumble match viewing fatigue if I sat through that womens match first without skipping but thankfully discovered fuck doing it this way is great lol.

I saw the cargill and braun beast mode spots. Was that basically it?

Three things:

1. The R-Truth stuff was mildly humorous, but predictable.
2. The "destruction of Chelsea Green" stuff was perversely entertaining.
3. The Cargill / Belair faceoff toward the end of the Rumble popped the live crowd.

Theirs nothing wrong with being predictable if you can create a well enough Story for the people to get behind.

Just finished the Rumble and I was pretty happy with it. I thought Cody's win last Year was stronger but still winning 2 Years in a row is a great thing to see. You gotta give props to Punk Wrestling through the injury most people take off work with a Stomach Ache and think they can talk about Punk you can stick it. We just had 2 Hispanic Stars win the Rumble and seemly they both are going to win at Mania this Boricua is going to have plenty of Tissues ready come Wrestlemania in Philly.

Two cool things resulting from the Punk injury, he gave one heck of a real fiery impassioned promo, followed by an angle that I felt gave Drew some real heat. Made me wonder if the injury is a work for Punk to take time off until the real Mania build starts but I kinda doubt it.

In professional wrestling, there's good predictability and bad predictability just like there's good unpredictability and bad unpredictability.

Good predictability would be Cody finally winning the title from Rock's cousin at WrestleMania 40. Another case would be Bayley winning the Women's Rumble a few nights ago.

Bad predictability is Rock's cousin winning every fucking defense due to one of the members of the Bloodline whether it be an Uso (before they broke away) or the Umaga ripoff that WWE tries so hard to make look like a badass but fails to do so (if I want to watch a real Samoan badass that the WWE makes Solo out to be, I'll stick to watching Samoa Joe, thank you very much). Don't give that "he's a heel" shit. I know this. It's just fucking boring and monotonous. I've been ready for Roman's title reign to end for two years.

Good unpredictability would be John Cena's appearance at Money in the Bank last year.

Bad unpredictability would be Ronda Rousey returning and winning the Women's Rumble two years ago.

Yeah the Drew/Punk Segment was amazing. Drew sold that like a Champ and he'll do well with the beloved Sami Zayn. I also thought the Cody/Seth Segment was great in it's own right as well. I got me choked up because it's Seth telling Cody I'm going away but I want you to take the Torch and run with it. It's like a person saying to his Brother, Sister, or Best Friend take care of my Child because I can't do it right now or I'm possibly not going to be around much longer. Seth had all the points in the World towards Roman and it should be interesting how it all ends up now. I don't know what better way you could of put over the Title and the importance of it to Seth and the future of WWE in 2024 than in this Segment.
