Please define "night" - current system time at the time of this post is 10:02am British Summer Time - having no idea where you are "it seems to get worse at night" means very little to me.

im in the southeastern united states, right now for me its 1 35 pm. All i meant was like at night, when im normally on this site it acts up, then when i get up, or the next day im on, its better, so i assumed maybe at night sometimes it does upgrades or something to the site itself? i didnt mean like everynight at 2am it messes up, it was just a guess.

It was running slow for me and then the site went down for 15 minutes

between 1300-1315 BST

It wasn't my connection because other sites were working at the same time.

I experience, intermittently, a very noticeable lag when navigating the Planet:
sometimes I click to reach a page, and it will just hand (at times for over 10") before loading it.

The loading itself is fast, it's just the latency that can leave to be desired.

Did that to me this morning at a few minutes after midnight when I was posting my 4 V&C movies of the day and it just load and load and think and think after I clicked Post Quick Reply or Go Advanced or Preview Post.

ya.. i didnt think it was just me, its a site issue one would assume, any word on it getting fixed?

If I try to post a quick reply or type something and then click go advanced, it's doing the same thing, hang... and then time out

Only way I can post any reply is by quoting someone's else reply above and replacing everything in it with my reply and click submit reply.
