I don't get the "Jey Uso leaving the Bloodline" thing; that's something Vince would do, since he hates tag teams. The obvious choice is for a Sami beatdown, with KO saving him, they kiss and make up, go after the tag belts, and win them.

I HATE Bray, since what he does has almost zero to do with wrestling, but I'm old school, so I'm probably in the minority.

Blame the USA Network for tipping off Cody winning the Rumble; in the promo USA aired days before the Rumble, Cody was featured in the package first, AND last.

Yeah, I was saying that as he returned. WWE have to give Cody a strong push to at least make AEW talent think there's a chance they can succeed in WWE.

I think Jey being conflicted is simply a way to continue the story without it being cliche Sami against all of them. Jey will likely choose Roman or stay conflicted but Roman will likely disband and go on a fat vacation after Mania so they'll clean the slate anyway.

Thinking about it, it seemed like a secondary storyline, as if the powers that be didn't know if they wanted Roman to face Sami or Cody at WM. Since Cody is locked in (apparently), they can use the Jey thing to take a tag title off of the Usos, as is rumored to happen soon. Question is... who gets the tag belts?

My favorites:

KO / Sami ?
Jey / ??
Gallows / Anderson ?
Banger Brothers ?
some combination of Judgement Day talent ?

Dark horse:

Logan Paul / Ricochet (that was an awesome spot in the Rumble, even I have to admit it)

OH, and there's talk (not much, but...) of Rhea Ripley going after the IC title, a la Chyna...

I don't know what to make of this. Did Sami look stupid going after Reigns knowing the goons would be around or did Heyman intentionally try and give Sami the opportunity and they are in cahoots?

Yeah, lots of different directions they can go in with that... even hinting at Heyman switching allegiances...

One thing that piques my curiosity... at EC, what do they do with Sami/Roman? Can they really have Sami lose in the main event in (basically) his hometown? They risk killing the town if Sami loses... or even wins by countout/DQ. If it were me, I'd do a disputed finish, so Sami leaves Montreal with the belt... then they can give it back to Roman (to drop it to Cody at WM). Like a double pin with an alternate camera angle with Roman's shoulder off the canvas.

Plan B is a quick title flip... even a one-nighter. A long shot, but viable.

I think either Owens screws Zayn over at Chamber and they face at Mania or somehow a triple threat at Mania. Perhaps Owens v Sami on night one as the main event and the winner goes onto night two to make it a triple threat match. Set the match up for two-fall so Sami wins the SD title and Cody wins the Raw title and they get their split like they did that one time with the European and Intercontinental titles. Sure Roman will probably look weak coming out of that but I think he's most likely splitting up the faction once Mania is done and going on a fat vacation so enjoy this story while it lasts. Chamber has that wtf is going to happen vibe and I feel it's been a while since they've genuinely had that like MITB 2011 Punk in Chicago.
