I was fine with Taker appearing as the Biker, but I despise the poor excuse for a "song" (I use that term as loosely as possible) that was used again. "American Badass" is the the worst theme he ever used. I would have much rather him use any of his other Biker themes: Rollin', My Yard, Dead Man, or You're Gonna Pay (either the instrumental version or the lyrical version). Anything but that terrible "Sad But True" ripoff done by a guy that sounds like the whiniest little bitch in the world at every turn.

Have they completely telegraphed Cody winning Saturday or is there an obvious swerve I'm missing? I'd venture there's no way Rock is winning. I figure he's probably only gonna be an appearance at WM at this point. Anyway it should be fun regardless and Shane ain't there to fuck it up.

Sami wins is something I've seen pondered about. I'd go Sami, second Bloodline dude and Brock in the last 3. They get the double up on Brock and then Sami goes rouge. Maybe the classic get the 2nd dude as he gets the big elimination thing.

Obviously Brock could be replaced by anyone but I figure the added dread of 'Not again' staring you in the face makes for a better rollercoaster of emotion.

They built Cody up way too much to have him be an afterthought but it definitely conflicts with Sami. Perhaps done intentionally. They've kinda set up Cody to turn heel though lol.

I was randomly thinking what if Uncle Howdy is Ryborg/Rybot. Ryback as an AI robot manipulating Bray lol. He was somewhat bot like when he was last there.

I feel kinda bad for the women's rumble as it's sorta just there this year with everyone obsessing over the booking of the men's match.

Is hhh's meds detrimental to his booking abilities? Men's match was very long and mostly a big pile of nothing. Back to back we're in feuds entrances making it feel even faker. Boring one star from the past and how many times does Edge want his Rumble pop the fucking addict. I'm seriously done with that guy. He's a fucking meme.

It was a one spot match and the celeb got to have it.

I feel like Cody winning is to show AEW talent, hey guys, see, you could get a big push if you come here.

Cole straight in with the dream line immediately after he wins was fake forced as fuck.

They didn't do Cody any favors putting him in at 30. He didn't really have the struggle but also makes him look weak failing for so long to get the very first guy out.

Telegraphed and boring. I expected better from a new booking team but all we get is hhh picking his fav Grunter to beat the longest time record and one spot. Oh and the whole Rey is still waiting to get in crap like Curtis had that one year. Why do they even bother with that. They really need to state a time limit of how long you have to enter the ring otherwise you're counted as eliminated.

Glad to see I'm not the only one disappointed with the Royal Rumble overall.

The men's rumble seemed kind of boring; especially when you KNEW Cody was going to return and win, just because he was over when he initially returned and had an injury reason behind his return at the rumble. I honestly would have preferred Gunther win. Hell, they could have put Sikoa in, instead of Booker T having a Rumble meme moment, and had him win or make it seem like he was going to win, just to put some interesting pressure on Reigns. Christ, considering Chelsea Green returned in the woman's match they could have gotten Cardona to return and taken Rey's spot but they used Rey to build up Dominic, who is shit anyway and should be on NXT getting more experience. Also, they never answered the question of Kofi being eliminated, and was Rey ever eliminated given he never got in?

The Pitch Black match was dumb, it was pretty much a weekly match in my opinion, and the same for Bliss vs Bel Air. They both felt like two Raw matches, though they should have them reversed in order placement.

Women's rumble, I've never been a fan of it just because you pretty much know who is going to win if you take out the Champions, whoever the top face or heel usually wins that and I'm okay with Rhea's win, just about everything else in the match was mediocre. Chelsea returned and was promptly used as fodder, idiotic. Women who could have honestly been dangerous in the match were iffy - Bazsler, Sonya, and Raquel could have been eliminator machines. Dewdrop is now a Piper? Natalia returned looking like bargain brand Bret Hart and Michelle McCool was in for reasons.

There was no title defense from Flair and the same for the Usos.

Reigns and Owens was decent enough, it could have been better, it could have been worse but I guess it accomplished what it was supposed to for the Sami storyline and whatever for the Usos. Does anyone else feel that the long trek to the ring is what stopped another ref from coming in when the first one was taken out?

Bray selling out to have a Naomi entrance match. I refuse to name the fucking thing. I should have known better but wasn't expecting that level of blatant advertising. They haven't got a fucking clue what this thing is. I wanted this new Bray run to make sense but now there are no white rabbits and we got this other guy who I want to be an AI cyborg manipulator just for the lols but whatever. At this point who gives a shit because they don't. I have to hand it to LA Knight, he fucking carried my interest in that thing and got dealt the no sell look like a joke hand.

Hardy is a tub who can't sing. I couldn't sit through that. We could have had an extra 15 mins of boring rumble instead.

By the time the ending came about I had figured what was probably gonna happen as it was transpiring so I wanted a swerve just for my own amusement lol. I guess Sami gets a win in the Chamber or something. Not sure if Roman would wrestle both nights of Mania or if we're gonna get a Bryan scenario all over again where he has to beat Solo night one to be added to the main event night two.
