I don't think she is dumb. Probably not going to have excelled in the field of rocket science, but from her social media postings she at the very least seems streetwise and aware of her public persona, which isn't dumb behavior.

She's also quite funny.

Was 11/23/63 any good? I always wanted to see it but didn't have Hulu or whatever site its on.

I loved it, but then, I also loved the book. The thing about it, the best sections of the book aren't really in the show. I'm talking about the chapters devoted to him just living as a high school teacher in Texas. The show obviously only had time to focus on the saving Kennedy from being assassinated plotline.
