I had the same Deposit Files account for 5 years.

I have uploaded 1000s and 1000s of adult movies to it.

They stay on there for 3 months and then a file gets removed if no one has downloaded it in 90 days.

If a file keeps getting downloaded, the 90 days period will reset and starts back up so a file can stay on there almost forever as long as it's being downloaded.

I have to log in to upload a file so this way I can see which files will be removed soon and replace them with a new one before they are removed and then update the download link in the movie thread in V&C.

Deposit Files finally caught up and figured out there is this guy with over 1,900 movies hosted on their servers and they are all porn plus a handful of mainstream Hollywood movies that I posted in the regular movies forum of Planet Suzy.

So they have deleted my account along with 1,900+ still live links.

I was taking a break from posting movies.

I guess it's permanent now especially when my other dependable file host has also become useless.

It's the only host that's allowed on Planet Suzy that I could upload a file up to 100 GB in size without having to break it up into pieces (10 GB limit on Deposit Files).

I will be posting movies again starting later this week.

There will be changes.

All the links will be hidden: no more leeching.

No complaining about the quality of the movies - I don't make them, I don't rip them, I find them on the net just like everyone else, download them and many times takes days to do so, and share them.

If you don't like the file hosts I use, I am more than happy to give you the file hosts they were hosted on at where I found them at: nitroflare, keep 2 shares, rapid gator, etc etc and you can go get them from there, including getting movies that are split into several 990 MB RAR and each 990 MB piece takes 16-24 hours to get that it if it doesn't get disconnected and many times it has, with only 5 minutes left after downloading for 16-24 hours.

Anyone complain about the video having logos, advertisements, etc and I will be pulling the plug again.

I do this on my own free time, using bandwidth that costs money, using my time and energy that also costs money, and if you can't appreciate something you are getting for free and that we are technically breaking copyright laws, you can go get it yourself on your time and your bandwidth and your energy.

Some of you folks are just not appreciative of what you are getting.

Don't like it? Go pay $ and buy it.

I posted some movies at the other site and they bitch about a website address showing on the screen for 12 seconds that I didn't put there - but the rest of the movie is clear and in 720p.

They won't go spend $20-25 and get the DVD itself from Vinegar Syndrome but want to complain about something on the video they are technically stealing.

It appears that you do not understand the reason why people were bitching about those logos at that "other site" so let me educate you....

That "other site" has a rule against advertising other websites that make the original ripper money in any way and that includes logos hard coded in movies. The logo in question advertises a tracker that pays uploaders who post there. That guy posts exclusively there and hard codes the logo into the movies to get more downloaders to go to that tracker so he makes more money. Same rule applies to logos that advertise personal sites that make the uploader money.

There are also quite a few uploaders at that "other site" including myself who spend even more time and energy which costs money as you say in addition to spending money for better bandwidth, premium accounts, and sourcing and buying tapes and DVD's to rip and post there. Those people do not hard code anything into their rips and do not advertise any sites at all to make their money back so it's understandable that they don't appreciate others that do hard code logos into movies. They especially don't like it when someone takes their rips, reencodes them and hard codes logos to make money from something they did not rip or pay for.

By the way, if you are going to use hide exclusively, you had better keep a close eye on your links because a lot of people get upset when they click Thanks and find dead links....

One important thing - that "Ripped by ***** at VEF forums This message will disappear in 15 seconds" message made as softsub and people can simply turn it off or using mkvmerge completely remove it and watch clear movie...

1. I was addressing a policy at VEF, I said nothing about intrusive.

2. I was also talking about hard coded logos that advertise a cash site, not soft coded logos that can be shut off or removed as described above. Also, those soft coded logos are not an advertisement to make money. They are most likely there to discourage posters from reposting files to make money and not giving credit to the OP as they apparently have been doing forever. Poster courtesy has been a dead issue that succumbed to the almighty penny long ago it seems.

3. That policy at VEF has nothing to do with this place. Apparently that's not an issue here these days so if people don't care here neither do I.

Is it just me, or have all file hosts suddenly become very active in pulling stuff down? Everything uploaded today is gone already. I use Link Snappy, so have access to MANY file hosts, and try all the links. Nothing today is live, many in less than an hour.
