The salaries are correct since they are from disclosure documents relating to the stock but a few need to be clarified. Triple H and the McMahon's are only for their performances. They receive more for their executive duties. Orton also receive more since his contract calls for the WWE to pay for his hotel expenses (he might be the only one that has that clause in his contract). They also all receive more based on their merchandise sales. Also, for some reason Cena is missing. He's not active but his salary is almost the same as Lesnar's.

I was wondering that, how much they paying Batista, Cena, Rock, Austin, Undertaker, Kane and so on so they don't go elsewhere if they get the itch. Lesnar is still under contract?

I know he couldn't come down to Florida due to COVID, hence moving Heyman into the "advisor to Reigns" role, and that Vince wasn't too keen on bringing him back anyway, with Goldberg basically assuming his role (part-time monster) for far less money.

Lesnar's contract has expired. That's why all his merchandise disappeared from the WWE website.

Gotta get that Summerscam main event spot and payday brother. vs Booby Lashley has been on the creamlist of many so they provided enough green paper to fill his spare barn. It is intriguing I guess but will probably be mediocre after all the self hype salivating has finished. Do they do MMA style / hybrid, it'll probably be clunky and a short match. No guarantee for opponents who've never faced to have chemistry.

My problem with Lesnar is that they've booked him as coming in and taking the title off whoever to then not be around most weeks that I'd rather he just fuck off and stay home banging Sable whenever they want to.
From a wrestling perspective, Lesnar and bigger guys have been mostly meh over the years; I don't think he really likes it, thus why the non-Taker stuff has been the shorter matches. Him and Bob would be more of the same with that added dread of 'you know he's winning again'. And we all know(or should know) that Vince is totally willing to bait-and-switch a Brock appearance to help move tickets if need be. |

Something sprung back to mind, during that Warrior A&E doc when they talked about his music for like 30 seconds, not a fucking peep about Jim Johnston. It's treated like they already had the song ready and picked it.
Jim gives a very brief take on how he made it here. http://youtu.be/F0P-kbUS0RY?t=1620s If that time thing on the end of the link fails, it's 27 minutes in. Very brief, he strums the song though, worth it for the mark reaction lol. |

Is there a rift between WWE and Jim Johnston? All of the A&E docs seemed to be skewed towards WWE's side of things when possible, so that could explain that.
The Montreal/Bret stuff was closer to balanced but still felt a bit towards WWE. They still played the 'Bret screwed Bret' clip for example. |

I found the Bret doc rather uneventful but not boring. Vince talking about Montreal unfortunately wasn't interesting. The most interesting parts were about his life outside of wrestling.

As for Johnston, all I know is what I've heard. They left on bad terms, he felt they treated him like discarded trash. I guess they still think he is since he's never mentioned. IIRC Jim gives the vibe of holding back when asked about it, I think there may be more to it than the we're replacing you. Rumors John China is pulling a Lesnar and coming back to coast into a main event title match at Summerscam. Here's his new theme music sang by his movie buddy. Takes a minute to kick in but it's a surprisingly addictive chorus. |
