Extra subs mean nothing in the US now after the Peacock deal and I suspect if Jericho was something that moved someone internationally to join, it's people on the free first month or coming back just for Mania anyways so little gain there.
I think Khali is more an India play than a quick Show replacement, Show was 'wrestling' within the last year so I doubt he'd be on Vince's mind for the HoF yet. The whole thing is a who Vince wants in to sell tickets thing for the most part anyway, this year not withstanding. Why else would Trips not be in solo already or Chyna not in on her own? Next year is in Dallas, I'm 100% certain they'll want Taker to headline that and have Batista top 2023 when they go to LA. |

Probably five minutes after the releases news broke Cody and Khan were in contact with Joe.
Mojo has some talking ability and is very energetic. He does just look like a bus driver on steroids though. Tucker is fuckered, may as well go be a trucker. Bo has a weird accent, not sure he could ever be taken seriously. Kalisto can go wherever, he still has comedy/botch stigma on him, but can be fairly good nonetheless. Wesley, I don't know enough. Chelsea, did she even ever get a fair chance? Mickie James, shows what they think of her, unless she maybe wanted out. Billie & Peyton, I honestly think it was their accents Vince hated. That new gimmick Billie had seemed to go to a variant of what Bayley was doing at Mania. I don't know how long she's been doing that or had debuted it there. Nia Jax - Rocky, plus she's doing it for the sbbw's. Tamina - Vince is a Snuka mark. Dana Brooke - Probably walks around wearing hardly anything backstage. Keeps morale up for the old guard. I'd take watching her wrestle over Brie, who might be coming back. At least Nikki was somewhat decent when she was on the Cena juice from what I last remember. Baron Corbin - He's harmless. You picking him he must be doing something right to piss you off. Guy is a natural heel. Needs to drop the King bollocks though and have something more diverse than Baron the heel. Velveteen Dream - Meh, he needs a gimmick change after that thing that happened but probably won't. Should be released for sure. Jaxson Ryker - Sure. Drake Wuertz - Who in the blue? From what I just quickly looked up, seems like a misunderstanding. Jordan Devlin - I never liked the guy. Guess he's a great heel then by my own logic. |

My picking Corbin has nothing to do with him being an effective Heel. My picking Corbin has to do with him being awful and boring.

They can't all be great. Boring wrestlers have existed since the dawn of pro wrestling. He fills the boring generic bald guy wrestler spot adequately and in turn gets heat for it.
I know it's not popular but I don't mind the guy himself, he's got a legit background if comms aren't lying, seems like a cool dude outside the ring when I've watched bits like that. I feel more wouldn't mind him if they didn't watch week to week. Listening to re-caps, watching docs, ppvs, highlights and cherry pick the occasional show or match is the way to go these days. It's so overly saturated. There's a wrestling show on every day of the week now. |

Corbin got overexposed early with the acting GM crap; he's a capable, safe working heel who is average on the mic. He's fine so long as he isn't wrestling the same person on TV for 3-5 weeks in a row, sadly he's in WWE so that won't get fixed overnight.
There's now a show on every weeknight and yet I'll still only be watching a show on Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I'm too used to watching them live to record Raw/SD to watch them later using less time. They never sold me on why to watch NXT and I still have trust issues with Impact despite knowing Dixie is long gone. |

I feel like NXT replaced ROH (not that I watched it) which is weird because AEW should have. I feel Impact are on their own island and have flagged down the Jericho (in this case Omega) cruise for assistance.
Raw/SD, I ditched them to podcast review form. AEW, I've kind of ditched them to podcast review too as I really felt the matches got too samey for my tastes and most mid-card characters not clicking for me but will seek out a match/segment or so. NXT and Impact are just news scroll for me and I had my time enjoying them but I can't anymore. NXT stopped making their own stars for established Indy/Jap guys/gals with new names. Final straw was when they dropped the ball with Ripley when she got over in that war games match. They proved they don't listen to the fans at that point. Impact have stopped/started, I give them a chance, get bored, idk. If you enjoy it, great, but not for me. I gave them about two months last year after a "fresh start" and completely lost interest. |
