![]() I wasn't aware she was returning. The last I heard, she was done with porn scenes, although she still dances, so I think they're probably re-releases. Generally, the women from the early part of the century (sorry if that makes them sound really old, lol) who do comebacks don't do a good job. Briana Banks was missing her really hot body. Gauge was a complete disappointment and fizzled out almost as soon as she made her "comeback". Jesse Jane's comeback for the blacked scenes wasn't that great, either.

![]() It's old. JJ tends to sit on scenes for years just like the one he released last September with Anikka Albrite who has been retired for years.

![]() Savanna Samson just released her first new scene in years. She even talked about it on her Twitter. I'm guessing her wine business didn't work as well as she hoped.

![]() Savanna Samson's return to porn just shows of how schizo these porn chicks are.
Being a fan of hers, I kept up with her after her retirement. In the ensuing years she has done several interviews (online and on TV) about how much she regrets her porn past. She cries and uses words like "devastating" and "smut" to describe her previous life and she always brings up her son, who is "special needs" (or whatever they call it these days), and how it will affect him. Now, all of a sudden, she's back. Like nothing ever happened. What a ridiculous broad. She does look great though, which is all I really care about. |

Because someone asked for her in the ID thread, I've taken it as an opportunity to read up on Sibylle Rauch and did a bit of research. In case someone doesn't know, she was a successful and well paid pornstar in the 80s and 90s. She retired in the late 90s after problems with drug addiction. Then, in the mid-2000s she found herself working in a brothel. She tried to make a living as a mainstream actress, but as of 2018, aged 58, she still does work in a brothel. In January 2019 she had another attempt to establish herself as an actress by taking part in some reality TV formats, but that didn't work either. In March 2019 she stated that she'd return to work as a prostitute and revealed that she had a fan of hers pay her rent, who has now stopped doing that for unknown reasons, implying that she couldn't even pay her rent on her own all the time. It's just so sad and I'm afraid these and similar stories aren't rare occurances. Remember when that indie journalist found Jenni Lee homeless, living in the tunnels beneath Las Vegas? Totally different circumstances here, but in the end just a different symptom deriving from the same set of problems. IAFD recently retweeted a tweet by Karma RX: ![]() Sure, I guess quite a few managed to successfully transition to a new non-porn career. But if you'd dig around a bit, you'd find more similar stories left, right and center, all over the place. |

![]() And in some instances it's just a nice sob story to work the crowd.
Case in point: Bree Olson. She told some documentary about how she would never advise anyone to go into porn. She wanted to be a nurse or something in healthcare and knew she would never be able to get a job because of her history in porn. She was so depressed that she didn't leave her house for months on end, etc. After that she launched a "gofundme" sort of thing so that she could get inpatient mental health care. She claimed she had gender dysmorphia and wanted a sex change. She got bumped off one fundraising site for promising backers that she would send them "videos" from the institution. Time moves on. I have never seen any indication that she followed through on the treatment. She got married and her wife was doing Onlyfans for a while. Seems like if doing porn was that horrific, you'd certainly discourage your spouse from getting involved, right? Now Bree's happily doing OF. Sometimes a story is just a story. Pornstars are probably no more or less likely than anyone else to stretch the truth to pull at the heart strings if it might be advantageous for them. |

I think it's easy to point your finger at someone for getting back into porn if they, upon their retirement, has spoken ill of the business. Sometimes life just sucks and you are forced back into doing something you don't really enjoy. From a selfish point of view I like it when girls I like suddenly get back in action but more often than not I think the story behind a comeback is a tragic one. |
