I didn't see SD but they do stupid crap all the time that makes no sense. I think we'll get the match eventually. It has a lot to live up to though, the Takeover match they had years ago is held in high regard.

According to Tom Colohue on the Dropkick DiSKussion podcast, WWE is considering having Strowman lose the title to Bray Wyatt at Money in the Bank on May 3. The problem is not in seeing Strowman as a draw but rather Strowman having no major opponents to face at the moment. The original plans for the summer had called for Wyatt to feud with Roman Reigns and WWE may consider switching the title back to Wyatt until Reigns is available again.

A couple of notes. They are setting up the Banks/Bayley breakup. You saw that at the end of the match and in a few matches earlier. Now, having Sasha lose to Evans is a joke since Evans is not that good (and has a terrible gimmick) but I suspect McMahon loves that gimmick.

As to taking the title off Strowman, why would that be surprising? Strowman wasn't even supposed to have the title since Reigns was supposed to win it so really, Strowman is only a place holder. Also, the ratings have been tanking on Smackdown so who ever holds the title always get blamed when that happens.

Strowman = Stan Stasiak (between Morales and Sammartino) or Harley Race (between Dory Funk Jr. and Jack Brisco). A conduit between two estabished champions with little regard.

Does anyone else find it odd and amusing that they are doing the qualifying matches live but the actual money in the bank matches were taped a couple of weeks ago.

I think just cause of the network, before they knew they were essential they had to tape it. Now that they are, they thought screw it, lets do live shows

The whole Cain Valasquez "run" is a great example to use to explain how shambolic and sloppy the WWE product is these days.

They offer huge money to an ex UFC guy, that AEW were apparently very interested in, bring him in and have him get squashed in a faux MMA style match in Saudi Arabia. They don't let him do any of the cool lucha spots he was doing in AAA, he's just portrayed as a boring crappy MMA fighter. And then that's it. He never appears on screen again. And this was their big angle to end the Smackdown debut on FOX! They thought this would entice old viewers back!

Plus of course they had to completely crush Kofi and send him back to the midcard looking like a geek to set up the epic WWE title match between Brock and Cain.

Just a complete disaster in every way.
