Saw the back half of an AEW episode this morning and although I only knew who the Young Bucks were, it wasn't bad. Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone on commentary, oh those memberries.

So what wisdom will Punk drop, the shows kinda suck and if he was on them they'd be better? He better fucking deliver something interesting for all the trolling he's doing otherwise they may as well cancel that show.

That Lana/Lashley stuff the past two week has been just a train wreck. And we won't see them fight one on one until TLC, Hopefully they'll kill it after TLC because it's just an overall mess. Them try to play of she's flustered with just being with Bobby, and Bobby just looking uncomfortable in photos and videos. I mean I get it this was Rusev/Lana's idea but this is just horrid, and it helps who exactly?

If Punk was going to be there every week, maybe I'd get excited. But he's not and it's a WWE branded show which means he has to talk about WWE stuff only(probably). He's apparently on a contract from Fox, not WWE, so maybe he can shit on the product freely but Fox did commit a billion for Smackdown so...
But in any case, who had that 'CM Punk return imminent' being on a random Tuesday late night show that nobody watched? Heard this idea elsewhere, but imagine if he had first showed up on Sunday? When they're in Chicago, the roof might come off when Cult of Personality is playing and he actually comes out since they've done the fake out before. Cut some easy 2 min promo and then he says 'I'm going to be on this show, maybe watch it?'. Additionally, this feels like a must-win week for the NXT ratings. Hunter basically ended Raw with the open challenge for anyone to show up. So I'll be surprised if I don't read(since I watch Dynamite) that Roman opens the show to challenge Cole or Ciampa. Not that it solves their long-term problem since it's a ratings bump from the bigger names but it'd be something for Vince to wave around all happy and shit. |

Using main roster talent to spice up NXT. They can get away with it cos of the PPV but we all know what's going on. I imagine Seth will show up and he'll be cheered for the first time in ages which just goes to prove a lot about that crowd. They may as well all be wearing HHH masks and NXT t-shirts.
The cheers if Punk came out at the PPV would quickly diminish to a golf clap if he goes into an advert for watch this feeble attempt at an insider show that I'm doing for whatever reason *cough* money. They are two different worlds. |

sry to burst ur bubble marks but cm punk will never wrestle again. he got exposed on ufc for not even having a shread of athleticism and even less combat intellect. All he is worth is his opinion, that is why he is on that backstage show.
also if seth cant get cheers on the fail roster than idk how u think full sail is gonna cheer him. Lana dumped rusev cuz he wanted too much sex only to join lashley for a tongue wars on national television. this is the deepest storyline in years. so many layers |

So NXT win. If that isn't the biggest beg for a please watch our show I've ever seen. Takeover was pretty wild and the best match on SS was Adam/Pete so I guess if they don't grow the audience on Wednesday then there really isn't any audience left to garner or they are doing it wrong.
Also when did Ripley takeover from Lynch. Fiend is becoming lame already... That didn't take long. Bryan is still super over. Lesnar and Mysterio was quite fun, second best match for me. |

I feel like they messed up by having NXT get to a 3-1-1 lead, because then everyone already knows NXT 'won', even if it got to 3-3-1 NXT as the upstart still wins with a tie even without considering almost everyone they used had gone to war the night prior with some working a 3rd straight night.
Even with no reward for winning, it still would have been better to have the shows tied at 2 each going into the last match. Instead the women's triple threat was just meh because there was no story for it really. So then they have Shana win, giving NXT a clear victory and instead of an NXT locker room victory pose with Hunter and Co. we get a Becky blindside to have her standing tall for...reasons. I would say that Shana is dropping the belt to Rhea(who got a fucking huge ass rocket attached to her this weekend) and getting called up for a Becky feud but I think they're not doing NXT 'promotions' anymore so...??? And then Becky isn't even on Raw the next night, conveniently missing the chance to get publicly called out by her fiance like the rest of the roster. I think they're turning him, but it's hard to be sure since I think Chicago would have booed the fuck out of him no matter what he did. Possibly giving him AOP as heaters too, but again WWE is going with the slow path, just like the Bayley heel turn. |
