In case you still had doubts that moving NXT to USA so suddenly was a panic move; for the first 2 weeks only the first hour of NXT will be on USA, the second hour will be on the WWE network. It is being preempted for the last 2 episodes of Suits. Thus the first week of full 2 hours of NXT on USA will be October 2nd, the night AEW starts.

Yeah no shock to hear that news considering WWE wants to split the audience, but I'm more worried about NXT losing itself once it's on USA with people like Vince trying to change it to fit the fold what WWE has going with Raw and Smackdown. Let Triple H keep doing what he's doing with the other people over there and they'll be fine.

I wish that talksport guy pressed further to get HHH to at least hint they are doing it because of AEW but sadly he was a wuss. That would have at least hushed up most defending the empire. The more natural day for them would have been a replacement for Smackdown on Tuesdays, right? Take the two hour slot that they already have and put NXT there because folks are used to it now. There are excuses everywhere to be had like NXT is on the net Wednesdays, so have to read between the lines, but that's a fat eyebrow raiser right there, along with the "coincidental" timing which I have no idea the excuse reason behind that.

So who was worried about over exposing the Fiend? Because they're telegraphing him getting the next shot at Seth, who the crowd wasn't thrilled with winning last night. A good chance that match is in the Cell, Becky-Sasha part 2 has to be a lock for it. I'd have said that one and Kofi-Orton would be the Cell matches a week ago but that one seems over?
Good smash and grab title defense out of Bayley. And I liked how Alexa turned on R-Truth with 24/7 shenanigans. They had a video of Truth at a traffic stop and the 2nd cop was also a ref, worst schoolboy pin attempt ever though by the first cop. They should have a 24/7 title change at a steakhouse just to take the piss out of Jericho. |

I haven't been following closely but Braun got a title match by looking at the belt and before that he was basically doing nothing...
Bray gets a shot by paying off a puppet of his boss and has had only one match since returning and beat up some old guys... Is that really the new way of picking contenders? Any fucking random scenario they can conjure up for lack of brain cells. Who knows what's gonna happen anymore but it's gonna be stupid which is kinda ironic since that has made a comeback recently. |

Well, Bray had the surprise attack to end the PPV too. But, yeah, otherwise no real deep meaningful logic to either getting their title shots. They did have Styles call out how Braun got his title shot, so they must know it's kinda dumb. But as history has shown, just because it's kinda dumb that won't stop WWE from doing it.
They'll probably have Corbin face Kofi next as reward for winning King of the Ring, that'll be a thing. |

Unlike the never-ending game of hot potato between Sasha and Charlotte three years ago, Becky and Sasha’s feud actually feels like it has enough traction in order for a match to be confined in the Hell in a Cell. I don’t want the HIAC between Becky and Sasha to be a fucking mess like Sasha/Charlotte was.
Aside from how much of a mess the Sasha/Charlotte HIAC was, it pissed me off that WWE had them no-sell the match type. Even though the HIAC itself is a match type that has been horribly abused since it became the basis for a gimmick PPV, it’s still the same structure that nearly cost Mick Foley his life and it cost referee Tim White his career. These two were giddy about it. I was like "Goddamn, at least show some fucking fear for the same match the nearly cost Foley his life."

"Charlotte vs Sasha, one of the greatest feuds in WWE."
According to who? It had promise at the beginning, but it ended up being a wet fart when they never had Sasha get it done against Charlotte on PPV.
